I actually exclaimed this while watching the anime "Diebuster" (aka "Aim For The Top! 2"). I highly sudjest this anime to anyone who likes mecha, Sifi, or FLCL (but are looking for something more serious.

Can anyone suggest another anime like this one, or in the same genre?

Code Geass, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and of the Gundam series'.

You'll like Toppen Tengen Gurren Laggan. By the same studio as Diebuster and FLCL - Gainax. My favorite anime studio, as they also did Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Yeah Ive seen all that, and most of Gainax's production. I know that really narrows the search.

I havent watched any gundam yet, because of the shear amount of seasons it has. Where should I start, and/or which is a good exemplar of the entire series?
