Two trailers there.

Biased or not, I want to see this movie. It comes out next weekend. Looks interesting and funny. I'm not going to look at it as a documentary, because it's not. More like a...dramatized interpretation of Bush's life. I kind of wonder how they made it without getting sued. I remember that movie from several years ago about Bill Clinton with Jonathan Travolta in the lead role...but they changed Clinton's name, but you could still tell it was him.

At first I wasn't thrilled, but the more I think about it the more excited I get. I will see it just for the lulz.

I love it, final proof that Bush has no power left whatsoever.

I liked the Talking Heads song in the trailer.

And I hope they give some proof of cocaine use in his life.

But to whoever was talking about the Clinton movie they made, they don't actually use his name in the movie, for instance: Bush is referred to as W, Cheney as Vice and stuff like that (I think).

But Oliver Stone produces pure gold, so I'm going to see it.

No, if you took the time to watch the other trailer, everyone is named fully. It even opens with George H.W. Bush lecturing his son, saying "Who do you think you are? A Kennedy? You're a Bush. Act like one." And all of the credits listed on imdb have real, full names.

Ahh ok, I've only seen the TV trailer.

I am pretty much only seeing it for Elizabeth Banks.

Also, I remember reading that it was originally going to be Christian Bale as W.
What a weird world that would've been.

I'll definitely be seeing, I'm a huge fan of Stone's work. I sure as hell wished he'd make a film about Ronnie Reagan.

Huge disappointment. It wasn't nearly as funny as I was anticipating.

I was hoping it would focus mainly on his past, but it turned out to be mostly inane political commentary on the War in Iraq.

Hmm. To be honest, I wasn't really thinking it was going to be a pure comedy. I mean, if you want that, watch old SNL episodes with Will Ferrell or that dickhead Frank Caliendo's show. But yeah, I did assume it would be more about his whole life, not just his presidency.

But I haven't seen it yet.

Even though it's only been one day, I also can't seem to find it on the internet. Er...does anyone know of a search engine service that may direct me towards it? Thanks.

The previews/clips I've seen from it don't do anything to make it look entertaining.

Dude, is your username inspired by the MST3K episode "Space Mutiny"?

If so, that's awesome.

Stone doesn't do comedies.

Just like Shyamalan doesn't do horrors.

The film companies just advertise their movies that way.

Wow, "fucking retard." Intense!

I didn't mean to imply that I was expecting a Will Ferrell movie. But given how unbelievably simple and slanted it is, I was hoping for some comedy to compliment. There were definite attempts, but they fell flat most of the time. You can only laugh at Dubbya's little quirks so many times before it gets old.

So given that it isn't exactly the most illuminative "biography" there is, and considering the humor, which was supposed to be a major accessory, came short - what redeeming qualities does this film have other than to reaffirm our opinions on Bush being "a stoopid mor0n lulz"?

And before you assume, because you seem like the kind of asshat who would, I would like to note that my political ideologies are best described as "strongly liberal." However, I'm not one of those tools who jumped on the anti-Bush bandwagon because the War in Iraq was a failure and because he's not the most well-articulated speaker there is. There are plenty of reasons as to why Bush proved himself to be a horrible president; however, I find it incredibly irksome when people dwell on those and only those aspects of his presidency.
