I was just at Blockbuster to get Forgetting Sarah Marshall (funny, go watch it) and saw Postal. I thought it couldn't be after the video game so I picked it up and read the back and oh lawdy it actually was. I only had 5 bucks on me and I wanted to get Sarah Marshall so I still did. But I'm wondering is Postal worth seeing? Is it as funny and cool as the video games? Or is it another typical game-to-movie crapfest?

I believe Uwe Boll directed it and if so I honestly can't see it being anthing close to enjoyable.

As far as I've seen and heard they've all sucked so far, on IMDB only (I think) 1 of his films made it over five stars, and most barely made it over 2 and 3. I've only seen some of Alone in the Dark, and didn't care for it all. So if you decide not to watch postal, you'll have most likely done yourself a favour.

The greatest thing about Postal is that it manages to offend everybody so damn well.

Postal is easily Uwe Bole's best movie (which isn't saying much considering his other works).


It isn't really that great when you compare it to other movies but it has some funny and truly offensive moments (opening scene ftw). If you liked the game and that style of humor go for it. Otherwise you might regret wasting $$$ on it.

He likes video games. The only reason he can continue to make movies however is because of Germany's weird tax laws. Rich people over there give him money and save a ton at tax time.

I kinda liked Bloodrayne, mostly cuz it had Kristana Loken naked in it, and I liked Postal for the same reason I like South Park.

I actually won tickets to see the premiere in May in Vancouver through a contest with movieset.com. Unfortunatley because of the juden boss I had, I couldn't go.
