Also Hitler was quarter jewish and IMO he was a good dictator apart from the genocide. I mean he brought back Germany's economy and made the autobahns, and IIRC made speeding restrictions in Germany after he crashed his car.

Few people could have brought a country whose paper money was cheaper than firewood to nearly winning a world war against the three largest superpowers in a handful of years. I believe that if he had listened more to his generals and if he had not attacked Russia that he could very well have won WW2, or at least conquered Western Europe and held America in a stalemate due to the large distance between the continents.

Realistically, we got lucky we were able to make the atomic bomb before the Germans, and that the Russians played cannon fodder to wear out Germany's resources. The bomb was our only trump card. Germany had more fiercely loyal soldiers and far more advanced weapons than the Allies.

This. If he would have focused all of his resources on Europe, he might of taken it all. America, at the time was really sitting on the fence in terms of what to do. On one hand America produced anti-Nazi propaganda. On the other hand, it was initially doing business with Germany. If Germany would have taken Europe and Republican members in Congress were successful in keeping the US out of the war, America would have very well just made Hitler its biggest trading partner.

Especially with both Germany and America having the same view of the Soviets. And both Germany and America having been scouting around the Middle East for oil during WW2.

The saddest thing about McCain's campaign is that the majority of his supporters are the kind of people who would actually believe something like this.
