so i was at my friends house in a different city, and he doesn't want or to secure his WiFi, nor does he care.

he has 2 computers on his network excluding my laptop.

so i was siting at his house watching a movie on my laptop, with him. and i kept getting this connection from one of the computers on his network, and my firewall blocked all of them. (i use zone alarm pro)

it would keep trying to connect time after time, at about 10-20min intervals.

it would use port 3760 TCP every time, so i Googled port 3760 and didn't get anything interesting.

my question, i wanna hear anything you guys know about this, any suggestions?

the only thing that i did on their network is use my freemail account to check mail that has my grades and some personal information.

should i be worried?

here is a screen shot: http://i36.tinypic.com/24pyn2g.jpg

i tried to telnet it for, just for the heck of it, but nothing came up.

and one more thing, when i tried to connect to their router to see all connected devices, it didn't work, as if the router wasn't there, as far as i know the default ip for every router is 192.168.1.1 or something close to that.
i have a netgear rangemax 240, and i had to change it to 192.168.10.1 because of it conflicting with the DLS modem.

later i found out they had a D-Link and it was time to go.

(sorry for the random way i put everything out, I'm just "nervous" because i have a lot of things going on right now.)

edit: i tried netstat command in cmd to make sure, and i tried connecting to variations of 192.168.2.1 and the like.

Did you try connecting to 192.168.2.5 and making sure it was the other computer and not the router/modem?

If the right (or wrong) person comes along, he's going to get FUCKED.

Dlink routers will usually start handing ips to clients STARTING with 192.168.2.100, so this is probably not a computer connected to the wireless network, but is most likely something of his wired in.

and my firewall blocked all of them. (i use zone alarm pro)

As long as you're using Pro. The free version is very poorly rated in leak tests. If you're going to use a free firewall, you're better off using Comodo or Online Armor Free. Paid, I'd go with Online Armor or Outpost Firewall.

According to google, a program called AdTempus regularly uses tcp/udp on port 3760, maybe he has this program.

Generally a Dlink router's default IP is 192.168.2.1. With the exact model I could tell you for sure.
