Detroit's gonna have to strap up if they wanna take the central :D

Biased, maybe, but Boston will be much improved this year. Getting Ryder back with Julien should pay huge dividends on the offense side. Having Bergeron back on the ice along with Wheeler and Kessel being older should help out on that front. Chara had a monster season last year, lets hope it wasn't an outlier. I don't like Thomas much, but he gets the job done. Until he really blows it, and then hopefully Fernande will earn his salary.

Montreal should be filthy (as much as I hate to say it), and Pitt should go deep into the playoffs again. Dallas and Anaheim will challenge Detroit out west, but I still think the Red Wings will make it to the finals. Hossa is probably gonna go nuts in that lineup.

Not going to lie im really not aware that there is another NHL worthy team in the central division! Maybe Chicago but they still may be too inexperienced to go anywhere. But then again Detroits divisional record was horrible last year.

no no no no, Chicago is not going to challenge Detroit, but they are a team on the rebound and have got some great, young, up-and-coming stars. Great article in SportsBusiness Journal about how the franchise is turning itself around.

Chicago will be a very good team for years to come, depending on player development they could be a scary team by the end of the year. Picking up Bowman even as an advisor never hurts anything either. I question their goaltending and they dont have much cap room to manouver untill the Khabibulin contract is off the books.

They will push for the 8th playoff spot but thats about it.

Hell yes! MacIntyre is looking like he'll be the next straight up warrior for our team. Capt. Moreau is still my favorite Oiler, but with Mac out there the nucks and flamers better keep their heads up on a nightly basis...

Well the Canucks are in first in the division. As such, fucking eh.

I think we can all agree that no other team is even near as cool.

San Jose is really surprising me this year, I had them written off as a dying team before the season started.

GO SJ!!111

I dont watch hockey. Its not even showed on the channels I get. Why is that? Why do I have to pay extra to get the hockey channel?

The Bruins do kick major ass, I will admit. Some of my friends are die hard Bruins fans and they used to be my second team, then I gave up on them.

Although they are doing damn well this year, I will never adopt them as one of my teams again, because they caused me too much heartache in the years past.
