The summer show was so lackluster, it didn't merit mentioning, but this past weekend's was awesome. One vendor had a fully-auto Ak-47 clone for $575, another had a .38 special S&W snubby in stainless steel with genuine stag grips--$500. Same guy had a stainless steel long-barrel police model .38 Smith for $350.
I picked up a Jennings .22 w/walnut grips, used; Jennings .22 stainless brushed finish with pearl grips, NIB; Hi-point .40 S& W (with hard case and two extra magazines); and a stainless steel (or chrome plate) .38 special Rossi with walnut grips and four-inch barrel. For the whole works--including 50 rounds of ammo each for the .38 and the .40--$565. I don't know how our prices compare with Outside prices, since I haven't purchased a gun Outside since the early seventies.
I'll keep this short, so I'll skip the anecdotes about amusing customers--but I grossed over two grand, my most lucrative gun show ever, thanks to the brisk sales of switchblades.
Nice job and great finds! Where was the show at -- Anchorage, I'm assuming?
I was at a gun show on October 5th, great time, many vendors -- was there on Sunday and didn't get payed 'til Wednesday, and thus I missed a WWII .303 Enfield at a rather reasonable price -- bummer!
They next'n comes around on November 15/16, I'll definitely be going and with a good chunk of change!
You should certainly share the amusing customer anecdotes, I need a good laugh! :p

It was in Raven Hall at the State Fairgrounds in Palmer. There is talk about moving all the shows to Anchorage--city of Palmer is getting snotty about sales tax collection--but I don't like that since it makes a loong drive, and way too far for the customers who live up the Valley.
One sorta funny thing--this one guy had his little brother with him, who was low blood sugar and/or ADD--asking tons of stupid questions, picking up knives and waving them around--finally he lunged across the table towards this very spendy art knife that was in a plastic dome, sitting unstable on top of a box covered with sateen--and I yelled "DON'T TOUCH THAT!" He jumped back and commenced to get all histrionic, faking terror and shock, the little asshole.
Lol, you need to keep a meterstick about to swat the little bastard's hands!
Judging by the apparent size of Palmer it seems as though more folks would come for the show than actually live in the town! :p

Probably post-86, transferrable to Class 3 dealers and LEOs only. They usually go for that price.

^Actually, it was a private sale. There may have been no paperwork involved.
Once in a while, we do bend the law a tad at gun shows here. ("I am shocked, SHOCKED. . . . .")

This.
I already know where I'll be moving should the gun-grabbers seem to making a final push.

Guy might've been ATF.
Also, and I am by no means doubting you, but how did you know it was full auto?
Did the guy actually have a sign? lol

Yes. lol, indeed.
And another vender had switchblades openly on his table for sale. I sell a bunch myself, but I try to be discreet about it.
Ditto with the brass knucks.

Yep, wink wink--also "belt buckles."
And this just in--I am happy to report that last night, I sold the .40 cal--for exactly twice what I paid for it.
