View Full Version : Remote Viewing through Dreams?

Throughout all my life I have rarely ever dreamed... waking up with memories of my sleep only happened 2 or 3 times a year, if that. Several years ago, I began having a strange kind of dream... very vivid images of varying locations I had never been to. It was like I was just standing there, looking at wherever I was, rather than being involved in anything going on around me like I would be in a normal dream. These images seemed to burn themselves in my mind, being accurately remembered for months on end, instead of just a few hours like usual.

Shortly after the first one I remember (maybe just the first one I payed attention to) I figured out that these were actual places from all over, places I was seeing months before I physically visited them. It became very dependable. If I saw a place, sometimes even seeing something happening there, I knew I would physically be there within a few months (or less) time.

After figuring out what was going on, I researched this heavily online, but had difficulty finding similar occurences where the location was actually visited after seeing it. Initially I thought it was some form of remote viewing, but after intensively research I'm convinced this is something different altogether, or at least different than any RV I've ever seen. Perhaps something like a mix of astral projection and precognition? I'm at a loss here, but I'd really like to learn more about this and maybe find a way to be more in control of it. SotD is really the only community in this area I know well enough to respect, so I'd appreciate any opinions, comments, or reading you guys might have to help me on this. I'll answer any questions as quickly as possible, and I'm open to anything, so please don't hold back if you think you know something. ;-)

Research Deja vu some, maybe that can help build some links.

Generally though, through experience, often you can make yourself believe anything. I have deja vu multiple times a day, where i see events that I dream about earlier. It could be 1) Pointless precognition or 2) Something that when i see the event I actually make myself believe "Hey, I have dreamed about this before".

It is important to note that those are equally as strong as each other. The brain is a very complex thing.

(I am not saying you are putting things in your head, just it might be an option)

I first started studying Remote Viewing a few years ago, and I was also studying lucid dreaming at the same time. I found I was unable to reach the state of mind needed to Remote View so I decided I would try it to remote view while dreaming.

Turns out I had a hell of a time inducing lucid dreaming too, but I finally got it once and was successful at remote viewing while in this state. I cant remember how I tested it, but it was something extremely simple that was easy to verify.

The idea of OBEs and astral projection while dreaming sounds really interesting, and might be the explanation for remote viewing and precognitive dreams.

I think everyone has had precognitive dreams at some point in their life.

I remember reading someones theory, or perhaps this was some groups religious belief, that the idea of events happening in a linear way is only a creation of the human *mind* and that all events have already happened, or are happening at the same time.

Just some thoughts ;)

I used to experience deju vu multiple times a day as well, however in day to day life I usually believe it to be mere coincidence. As you said, it is easy to make yourself believe anything, which is why the location based dreams are the only thing I put stock into. There would be very minute details in these pictures that set them apart from things I normally saw, leaving no doubt in my mind they were the same place when I would physically see it later. Not to mention, this is the ONLY time I dream... if I dreamed a lot, I could chalk it up to numbers or coincidence, but when these are the only time I remember something... it becomes more believable.

This is a very interesting prospect to me, and something I would like to try, but the few times I have tried to provoke a lucid dream I have been unsuccessful. What method finally worked for you? Do you have any useful pointers or tips to help me out? I feel like I could really learn a lot from this if I was able to control the dream.

I was finally able to enter into a lucid dream after having the intention of lucid dreaming for months, and I have probably only had 2 or 3 really good lucid dreams in my life.

From what I remember, I was staring at my hands this day, just examining them-the scars, veins, and marks, and that night I looked at my hands in my dream and I immediately knew I was dreaming.

So based on this experience, you could try staring at your hands before you go to bed and announcing to yourself something like "It is my intention tonight to have a lucid dream. While I am dreaming i will look at my hands and realize I am dreaming."

I am not sure why my interest in this died after this event but this topic has gotten my lost interest in this up again, I am going to start experimenting. I will let you know if I come up with anything interesting.

If anyone else has anything significant they can share please do.

I have induced all of my lucid dreams by 1 song. I set an alarm on my computer to play a easy song to not wake up too (I use depeche mode - precious)

Every time I hear this song I know I am in a dream... I try changing the station or turning computer off. Then it clicks...i'm dreaming then I do what i want :)

Works almost every time. Just sucks cuz now i hate the song, and i have to dream while listening to a song that i hate haha.

Nice idea :)

Me, I've not had any proof of it, but I just have this 'image' in my head that I got in a dream, totally lifelike of a forest somewhere, seems like I'm going to go there some time, but feels very 'profound' for me and almost get emotional when I think about it .. very odd. I just have this feeling that I *will* go there in the future ..

Well the hard part is not knowing your in the dream...its telling yourself not to wake up when you find out its a dream!

(without music induce lucid dream)
For instance, due to the recent October 14 alien theory. I had a "normal" dream last night and I saw constellations right above the mountain range while i walked. These constellations where pretty much every animal as a bunch of stars and a human face one.

I started to think I should tell totse lol...then realized out of the blue I was dreaming. It was just too crazy for it not to be.

I almost woke up, but to battle the wake up I forgot that I was in a dream, and went back and forth for a while..

You will most likely wake to a command that you want to happen, if it isn't just thought about, but focused on, you will wake up. (This is just for me of course) Kinda weird to explain since there are no words, only thought.

But anyways, I had to battle wakeing up a few times last night.

So, I figure for me there are three types of lucid dreams:

1) A normal dream, but you want the scenario to change.

2) A normal dream, but you do what you want and run around in that world free.

3) A complete lucid dream, Where you make the world and physics :)

Had 1 + 2 Every time I dream, 3 maybe like 15 in my life time.

I have those 1 and 2 kind of dreams several times a month. I never realize I am dreaming but I have this revelation that the world is *fake*(think the Matrix) and choose to just start flying around. These are the best dreams and usually have a great couple of days after I have one.

So with music induced lucid dreams you choose a song and train yourself into thinking that your dreaming every time you hear it?

What app do you use to set an alarm that plays music? I don't think I've seen that function before.

I hope its not possible. Otherwise, based on my dreams, there are some severely fucked up places

there are 4 things that can happen while you are dreaming

1. Astral projection
2. Psychological Messages. Many times your subconscious needs
to tell your conscious something, but your conscious refuses to listen.
In some dreams the subconscious sends a message, in symbols, to the
conscious. This is a basis for Freudian analysis.
3. Play. The mind, at rest, may wander aimlessly and meaning-
lessly, sending any sort of beautiful or bizarre pictures to your
conscious.
4. A combination of the above.

I had a dream that I had a pony and kept him on some land where there was this house that used to be a church. About 4-5 years after that dream, I was driving out in the country and saw that exact house. No pony, though. :(
