OK, I bought this thermometer adapter:

And this thermometer:
http://tinyurl.com/4xuwzy
So anyway, when I have the thermometer placed corectly within the still head, the readings between 60 and 120 are hidden within the thermom adapter. This is a problem for me because two of the things I'm wanting to distill boil between these two temps.
Any ideas what to do? Is a different thermom in line? I'd like to make this one work for fucks sake. Its great to see the precipitate on the bulb of the thermom, but not knowing the temp sucks. What do I do?

GET a rubber plug and trim it away as needed drill a hole for the thermo . Wrap the plug with some made in usa teflon tape. But without a pic of your problem can't say wtf

OK take that adapter off and do the rubber plug until you find a thermo that will work with it

I'm guessing I'll give that a try. Should work fine. Thanks.
