according to christianity we are made in the image of God.
I realise this reflects purley our spirit soul , and although we are qualtitativly similar God is obviusly greater than us (quantitativly).
is God a little bit retarded?

One might say he was the ultimate retard, In fact you could say that no other being can attain the infinte retardness of God.

All manner of death is the offspring of the false path. That, as I can tell, would include the decline of genetic health from generation to generation.

The soul is eternal. One of our "jobs" as eternal spiritual beings is to experience everything possible on the material plane--including the experiences of being "handicapped," living in poverty, "dying" in pain, and so on.
From a limited human perspective, these things are terrible, but from the standpoint of eternity, they are merely little speedbumps on the path to sainthood.
That is, since we reincarnate thousands of times, what happens in any single lifetime is no big deal in the long run.

sorry but i think u dont understand the question.
first of all id just like to respond to what you have said.
Some spirituality (i.e. vedic spirituality) would disagree and state that one should steer clear of these material gratifications and focus on being concous of God and all his qualities, pastimes etc.
any way you say our job is to experience everything possible, this is hard enough for "normal" people.
Handicapped people simply dont have the cognition (i know im beinggeneric, as handicapps are diverse) to experience as many of the things "normal" people do.
a simple example, most scriptures talks about revelation and enlightenment using light and as an example, there are none so blind as those who canot see, those who cannot see god.
well guess what god fucking made him blind whatd you thnk was gonna happen?

A man who believes he has lived an infinite amount of times and will live an infinite amount of lives after his death but who is living the only life he will ever live is a fool.
He dies, and he does not rise again.
The original post was one the funniest things I've read in awhile. :D A subtle shot at religion perhaps?
(no, I can't answer your question, if you are serious)

bart ehrman says it has something to do with deserving it, in some fashion or way. thats why he stopped believing, among other reasons.
personally, seeing as how nothing else is perfect, i dont see why we expect it with us. having a niece with leukemia, i have more of a right to be livid than probably anyone else in this thread. but i dont blame god for her cancer.
this is just a beaten to death non-sequitor that 13 year olds, and others of that level of wisdom and maturity, like to troll believers with because they cant stand anyone who thinks differently. after all, they get shit on all day at school for not conforming to pop culture and other bogus reasons.
so they pick on the religious.
and since they have that 13 year old outlook, i dont take things they say seriously at all. anyone who does is as foolish as they are.

So much to respond to, so little time (38 minutes of comp time left right now).
For one thing, you have no business judging what sort of cognioion "handicapped" people have or don't have.
God makes no one blind. We create our own reality, and free will is absolute. Granted, this is difficult to grasp--it took me over half a century to grok it in fullness.
The key to that blindness thing is "will"--people who choose not to see. They live in a self-created hell. Verily is it written, the kingdom of God is within us. As the ancient vedic sages wrote,"We are not in the world; the world is in us."
Oh, and in the future do please try to use standard English, spelling and such--makes it much easier for us benighted old school types. Thank you.

But it is your choice to use faulty English, and a choice which will not serve you well if you wish to be taken seriously.
When you come to this forum, you are sitting at the grown-ups table. It will behoove you to govern yourself accordingly.

im 19 , and as such will act like im 19, and will also act in and of myself.
i dont need you to define my principals or the way i articulate them, that goes for everyone else.
after all this is the internet ( and totse at that!)
when people tell me to use "proper" english on internet, that fucks me off.
There are varius forms of english, including old english, middle english, and the english of today.
it is debatable that there is a new form of english arising, derived from the modern world, from electronic technologies such as text messaging and this the internet, you cant stop language from evolving, why would you want too?
THIS is the internet, so you better get used to it mate.

Ummm, I don't think your "English" is evidence of language evolving. The language used in your posts, if anything, is proof of language devolving.
