Ok, this by itself is not a conspiracy theory, it is fact. Every few years a bunch of high-profile financiers, brokers, politicians, and CEOs meet up in hotels and such with very tight security and media blackout. This isn't debateable really, because these high-profile people have been captured on camera and identified as theyre in their cars or walking from their cars to the inside. This is not conspiracy. It's observable and verifiable.

My question is, and I only want opinions from level-headed persons, is there any other plausible explanation for these meetings? Is there really proof that the government doesn't sanction them(yeah I know logan act, but does the government really not know?)? They could be meeting for some other reason besides world domination. THAT is the conspiracy theory. Since nobody knows exactly what they're doing, there are all these suspicions.

Because nothing the participanst say will be over-analyzed later in the newspapers. I assume, this gives people the chance to really speak their mind and not bore people with their vague political bullshit stories.

You can compare it to a business club, but next to that it's also used to sort problems between nations. The other reason why media is shunned probably. The media would have a field day with various political leaders taking stabs at each other.

Im not saying everything said by these sources are true, im sayin do your own research and draw your own conclusions instead of hoping a totse member went to the Bilderberg meetings. There has been information that has come out of the meetings which turned out true. For example the planned invasion of Iraq. i didn't ask you to prove it, or for you to provide me with information on the subject. Just because I do not have the time to search the internet on the bilderberg meetings, dose not make me lazy. I have other things in my life to do, obviously, you do not.

That last meeting I know about was in 2006 in Montreal. The federal police (RCMP)even tried to get into the building for an unrelated mater and it was absolutly impossible for them to enter. In fact they could even get close! On that particular meetin, the canadien foreign minister was invited and used 3000 $ of government money (our taxes) to pay for his dinner. Because that's government money, he was ask in parlament to justify the spending by telling the public what went on in there and what was discussed but he refused to divulge anything without giving any reasons. This is in fact illegal for an elected offical.

I also know that Prime minister Harper was also invited to a meeting less then 6 months before being elected and so has most prime ministers in canada in the past 20 years...

I don't really think they are talking about screwing every nation around the world nor how to control the world. I believe they talk about maintaining economic stability, thus the status quo, around the world. they don't want change even if it is environmental change, redistribution of ressources or war. they want stability at all cost because everyone makes more money that way. So they are somewhat evil, but not as evil as everyone thinks.

That's a very good explanation. I don't believe in the anti-christ NWO 666 one world government BS, but mass collusion makes a lot of sense. The way the IMF and the world bank screw over third world countries into selling their souls to western corporate interests is a good indication of their success.
