I just recently saw this movie with the Girlfriend. It was a decent movie and she absolutely loved it. Did anybody else watch it yet? I thought it was fresh and original in the latest mass of sequels to hit the big screen and dvd.

I'd pay $500 to fight Michael Cera.

That's it?

but seriously this movie just seems like another "indie" film that michael cera has been tainting lately. I mean COME ON he plays the same character in every movie.

Absolutely, but he's not in this...?

Anyways, Michael Cera gurgles cock.

The hell is with the Michael Cera hate? Sure, he plays the same character in everything but that's because he does it so damn well.

No, it's because he's not fucking acting to begin with. He's just being his naturally awkward self and reading his lines.

No, not even that really. Lots of actors tend to play the same roles over and over and "play themselves". Cera's just annoying in his blandness. I've never laughed at anything that has come out of his mouth.

It is apparent that he's similar in real life to the characters he plays, and this is what I enjoy when watching him. If we were critiquing his acting skills then maybe I'd have a different opinion of him, but in terms of entertainment when watching him I think he's great. Of course, anyone who doesn't enjoy awkward "real life" humour won't find him as funny.

I'm incredibly awkward myself, and can fully appreciate whatever 'brand' of humor that may fall into, but Michael Cera is just plain unfunny.
