There's no casino gambling allowed in Ohio. There's something on the ballot this year to allow one single casino to be built in southern Ohio, but who knows if it's going to pass. But as of now, no casinos. There is a horse racetrack though, and the state lottery.
There's this place in my hometown that opened up within the past year where people can go and bet on sports. It's hard to see inside because there are these partitions in front of the storefront windows (it's in a shopping center) blocking the view in, but I have gathered they have a lot of TVs inside showing baseball, football, basketball, etc, and possibly some kind of link to horse races going on somewhere. How is this legal in Ohio?
edit: A couple years back in my town, they were busting at least one bar for having some game that was like a slot machine. So it's not like they ignore this shit...
