It never ceases to amaze me how any well-known older movie, no matter how shitty, somehow becomes 10x better when they talk about making a new sequel or remake for it.

Nah, anyone with a brain regards the first as superb. Then the second and third started sucking, but we allowed it to go on because they were still funny, kinda like rush hour.

They're memorable as part of the 80s childhood, much like Ghostbusters.
