List 'em.

Guns I Own
Mosin-Nagant M91/30
Ruger 10/22 (http://i37.tinypic.com/317jitk.jpg)

Guns I Want
Benelli Super Black Eagle II
.357 Revolver
.45 Revolver
Remington 870
Walther .40 PPS
Tokarev SVT-40
M1911 .45 ACP
SKS Type 56
K98 Mauser

Growing up I also owned a Daisy pellet rifle that I must've shot tens of thousands of times. Not sure what ever happened to it, though for nostalgia's sake I'd like to pick up another.

How about you?

I ph33rt3h.gov so I'll refrain from the first part.

As for the second;

a PSL, a Saiga 12, a Galil, Cetme, a .357 of some sort, a Mossberg 590A1, an SBR AKSU-74, probably more than I can't remember at the moment.

I don't know if I'll end up getting any or all of those. I'm pretty broke right now but I expect I will probably get the Mossy and a .357 eventually, the others are probably out of my reach though. By the time I finish college and actually have money again, there will be another AWB and I won't be able to get them.

Oh, also forgot I want a 20 inch A4 AR sometime too.

I also own every weapon that I have a need for. However, I have a bunch of .308 ammo laying around with no weapon to shoot it out of. I wouldn't mind picking up either an HK 91, M1A, or a Savage Scout.

I would also like to get an 11 inch double barrel Leinad .410 or a Ladie's Home Companion. If I had a LHC I would CCW that bitch!

A Win Model 12 (Or norinco replica) decked out for some trench warfare (heat shroud, bayonet lug, etc).

A PPSH41 repro.

I had one as a kid that we had to let go. Damn fine gun. With a 30 round magazine, it was an excellent plinking and hunting gun for me.
However, I prefer the classical semi- auto M1 variant, WWII vintage, with full wooden stock.
I had the chance to test an M2 and it jams. A lot.

Tragically I lugged all my guns up a volcano to be blessed by a shaman and they fell into the molten lava to never be seen again :(

Well that is going to take some work to get back out if shit goes down. You have to dig em up, soak em in a solvent, and then lube them up properly. That going to take a little time.

Yeah, well, the prospect of guerrilla resistance does at least grant that sort of time. They don't call it "the long war" for nothing.

Tiiiime in on my side. Yes it is. (Rolling Stones).

What amuses me is that people really think that confronting a superior numerical force with technological prowess and the element of surprise will do them better good than handing over their old milsurps and leaving the bug out stash for a later date.

That or, you know, doing something reasonable... like voting, or joining interest groups, donating time and money to facilitate change or maintain the status quo.

That may be true but in traditional 1,2, or 3G warfare they would totally own us.

It's all about winning on your terms, that's the only way you could win without an organized army.

Personally I feel the two-party system(among other problems with our political system) has rendered this next to useless. Not that I won't do it, just saying.

I'm aware of the second statement, and prefer my friends that way, however... if there were a confiscation, I doubt the gun owners would be on the numerically-superior side in any given engagement.

If the SWAT team decides to wake me up, or the National Guard pulls a Katrina, it doesn't matter how many of my buddies are playing slumber party (assuming I was privy to such information beforehand). They'll come prepared.

There may be more gun owners then military but look at the difference. Military has things like M2 .50cal, M240, M249, M4's, Bradleys, ARMORED Humvees, tanks, attack helicopters, air force things. Not to mention all the nice little optics, nice night vision, night vision scopes and much much more shit. So yea there might be more of you but the army has the superior equipment(for most part), and training in combat situations.

Granted like you said many military are gun owners themselves and believe firmly in the 2nd amendment me being one of those but how many are going to risk everything they have not to mention take the risk of possibly shooting someone that you used to be great friends with and such?

I personally would just hide all my weapons and try to secretivly find a resistance movement.

^ If you keep up with information on the war in Iraq the U.S. military's technology still isn't helping to win the battle. When we got REALLY good at finding and disabling improvised explosive devices, the insurgents got wise and switched tactics. Sniper attacks have increased 400% within a period of time I can't recall at the moment.

Regardless I don't think the U.S. soldiers will want to attack the citizens they've sworn to protect.

Guns i own:

2x .22LR Bolt actions (One's a single shot i've had since i was 6)
A .177 air gun that needs replacing with a good .20 or .22 one day
Sterling .22 mag Bolt action
12ga Under and over
Rem 700 SPS Tactical 20" 1:9" barrel - .223 Rem
Savage M10FP 24" 1:10" barrel - .308 win (My favorite)
Mosin Nagant 1947 M44 - 7.62x54Rmm

Guns i want:

Very shortly i'll be buying a Remington 7615P Pump action .223 rem, with a low powered variable scope on QD rings. (If anyone has one let me know, I have questions before i drop $1600 and can't find decent reviews).

Either CZ SP01 or HK USP when i have the money and patience to get my pistol licence.

And somewhere along the line i want a good Long range rifle (600y - 1500+y). At the moment i'm thinking a .408CT necked to .338, Full profile Krieger 30" or 32" match barrel, in a McMillan A5 topped with a leupold Mk4 (Or NF NXS if there is enough money left over), Undecided on the action ATM. Could be a while coming though since it will cost more than a good used car :D .

Sort of like how normal people own handguns that don't need to be registered in most states, only yours would be illegal and thus dangerous to be pulled over with, a huge waste of time/effort, and bastardized to the point of no resale value?

There are states that your firearms dont be have to registered? Thats awesome, could you elaborate on this? I was under the impression that all guns (legally bought) would always have to be registered, lol, shows how uninformed I am?

Here in arizona you don't have to register rifles and shot guns, im not 100% on pistols but I know you don't have to register rifles. What exactly do you have to do when you register a gun? I know what the registration is, but what does it require you to do?

Short barrels can be handy, for example a .22LR repeater with a 14" threaded barrel gives you very little to no velocity loss yet you can attach a supressor and it will still be around 2" shorter than a std rifle. Cutting the stock off is just plain stupid, basically all you're making is a very large pistol, with no ballance what-so-ever and thats nearly impossible to take accurate shots with. May as well hang a sign around your neck saying "I'm Mentally Deficient".

I don't technically own it, but I am issued an M249 SAW with a collapsible buttstock. I really want to take that piece of shit off, because even when fully extended it is still really short. The original buttstocks are perfect.

And BTW, I don't know if any of you heard of the new "lightweight" tripod, but those things are shitty as well. Carrying them is a bitch and a half because they always come unfolded with no way to lock it (UNLESS YOU TIE IT UP WITH SOME 550 CORD), and when you are lugging around a SAW, spare barrel + bag in full battle rattle (I don't have an AG yet :(), you dont want to have to carry that piece of crap too. Just plain awkward as fuck to carry, and you had better be on flat ground when you use it because it is designed to keep an extremely low profile with no way to adjust it like the older tripod. Any un evenness will cause one or 2 legs to come slightly off the ground, which to me defeats the whole purpose of using a damn tripod. I don't see the point to even use a tripod on a '249, mabye a '240 if you have trouble handling the recoil, but if you pull that buttstock tight into your shoulder, the recoil on a '249 is virtually non existant. Bipod FTW!

Nope, no registration on pistols here. It is quite possible there is back door registration we dont know about.
