I'm getting Triple Gold Daytons on it and a sunroof installation, plus 4 12's in the back with Boss surround sound, and a DVD/Navigation/XM console in the dash, which will be swapped out with a shit load of woodgrain. The estimate they gave me is 48,000$ and since I was considering a used XLR-V this will be tight as fuck and unique for the same price. This bitch should go 0-60 in 5 easy.

Actually, I'm quite sure the transmission would handle an LT1, and it would probably fit. The 3.8 and 5.7 blocks aren't that much different in size. People swap in 4T60's, 65's, and 80's in Fieros all the time to mate with L67's, blown 3.4's, and LS1's and they take it just fine. Hell, the 4T80E has to put power down behind a 300hp Northstar V8, so an LS1 should be no problem at all.

guys i give up. i am copping a Dodge ram Srt-10 mega cab from craigslist and selling this piece. actually i'm going to go look at it later tonight. it's 24,000$ and won't have to be redone entirely so it's probably a better choice. i realize now what a waste it would truly be, but i am still planning on getting a slab.

4T65's a piece o shit. With a shift kit they've been known to go out prematurely even without any power adders on the engine. It would be even worse suggesting to put an LT1 350 on top of it, especially with this idiot in the drivers seat.
