Who here has any information about what is required for an architecture major? I am an undeclared freshmen in college an I have no idea what to major in. I could do business but that sounds like I'd be some pawn for some big corporation and spend all day in a cubicle. So I am considering declaring in architecture since it sounds somewhat interesting and I think it would be cool to design buildings. So what kind of work exactly is involved in it?? I looked up the information on my uni's website and I still don't really understand exactly what it would be like. Is there a lot of math involved? Or anything else that really sucks? Any answers/comments would be appreciated.

If you are good a drawing(mostly 1st and second year) and willing to spend a few sleepless weeks a year(overall) then you could do Arch. It does require some discipline in order to juggle that big project you have do for your Arch. class and that big project due for history.

heh, you'll probably end up in a cubicle anyway doing work for "the man" if you do get hired, I heard you need to do a lot of internship time and graduate school before you get to do anything really exciting.

I'm looking at it for graduate school, but I don't know yet.

Damn, alright, I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna major in, right now I'm just taking a bunch of fucking retarded classes that will never help me in life. For example right now I'm in astronomy class which you think may be easy and somewhat interesting but it's nothing more than a crock of shit. Well I guess I'm gonna be working for "the man", what a great world we live in.
