It's an old bottle of tequila I found called "Tequila Beamero". It is 750ml. Product of Mexico and bottled in Australia. Has D12020 on the lower right corner of the lable, maybe a serial.
The bottle appears to be a recycled Jim Beam bottle. I assume this because it says Beam along the top ridge in glass and "since 1795" along the bottom, the same as Jim Beam.
So, is it a cheap mexican company's effort to cash in on the Beam name? Simply a tequiila that uses recycled bottles? A Beam company brand? Worth anything? About how old is it?

I believe it's a Beam company bottling, but don't know and can't guess at anything beyond that. An exact phrase Google search of "Tequila Beamero" only brought up six results.

Could still be a rip-off, no?

Eh I doubt it, it's not really a fancy brand name or anything so there's no point in ripping it off. I'd say it's just a product that got discontinued and he has the bottle.
And so the mystery of the Mexican tequila is solved..
It looks like it'll put you on your ass after a few shots. No listed alcohol percentage?

I've never ever seen that kind of Tequila here, but yeah, looks like one of those cheap brands. That shit will hit you hard. Very hard.

No alcohol or standard drinks listed on it at all. Where this inbformation normaly is on Australian alcohol is a martini recipe. Is it still drinkable? It is 30+ years old.

Only one way to find out, no?
Oui!
I don't think booze can go bad. If it's unopened it's 100% fine.

If you're getting "cheap" anything, liquor-wise, tequila is the worst way to go. Gin is pretty fucking bad at times, not that I ever really go anywhere near gin, regardless of quality, but at least with the plastic-bottle gin and vodkas you can just drown the fucking shit with mixer. With tequila you're just fucked, lime or not.

haha fun stories of people drinking WAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much tequila....
ie. waking up in a hotel room, butt naked, with vomit all over your chest and bed and floor and anywhere else for that matter and a mouth as dry as a nigger left in the sun for too long.(story from my friends mum :))
Or getting your stomach pumped because you drank too much.....(and for some strange reason couldnt vomit it back up)(cousins story)
Meh, i'll stick with my whiskey and beer :)
