But i've been watching trailer park boys lately and Randies cigarette antics have gotten me to thinking along with the fact that i've recently met people that actually do this, mostly ex-homeless people.

Would using a cigarette holder (like Hunter S. Thompson uses in fear and loathing in las vegas) get rid of the nasty germs, I know it would at the very least do something since you're not putting the nasty butt to your lips.

I know someone posted a faq on how to clean used butts but that seems like way too much work.

an while i never thought of using a holder, nor seen anyone outside of HST or that bitch from 101 dalmatians use one, i have been known to collect butts on particularly bad days, break em open an roll the tobacco into a very ghetto rolli.

but heck nicotine is nicotine. amirite. to be honest i would not worry about the germs one might get form the butts. the thing that always bothered me in these situations was why cant i scrape together enough cash for some smokes?

Yea, while the holder idea does sound smart, wouldn't that turn one of us smoker's acts of desperation into a daily activity?

And yes, I have picked butts before... when you are on day 3 with nothing but lint and paper clips, things get nasty.
