Hi! So I'm new and thought I'd ask OI what they're daily starbucks/secondcup/coffee house orders are.

I'll start, I usually pick up (from starbucks :() a venti cafe americano, no room, and 6 shots espresso. Or just a straight black coffee from Tim Hortons or the like.

If I'm feeling like being a girly-girl, during Oct/Nov I'll get the Orange Blended Mocha from Starbucks, but really I like my coffee like I like my men (ground up and in the freezer). No but seriously, Black Coffee ftw.

This. I don't see the point of foam in coffee.

Just plain coffee is really all you need. Anything else is horrifically overpriced and usually gross.

I can't remember the last time I got anything other than black coffee.
We have these flavia instant coffee machines (http://www.myflavia.com/myflavia/en-US/brewers/Creation_400_main.htm) at work that make one cup at a time, I have the Colombian or Sumatra flavors usually.

Either McDonald's or White Castle's coffee with a few cream and sugars. Starbucks is fucking terrible, their "roasting" process is nothing more than a char.

I avoid coffee places though because they wind me up so much. The people you get in there, so annoying. People latching onto the "Go for coffee" mentality and fad.

Last time I was in Starbucks some douchfaces would not keep more than a foot away from me, and then, as my coffee was being placed on the orders table tried to push past me exclaiming "Is that my one? Sorry, is that my one do you know?". Fuck off you fool, you're BEHIND me in the queue, no, it is not your one. Back away from me, it's not like I am going to steal your overly complicated, soy mocha-tofu, ozone-friendly coffee. I've paid for my own.

For thread contribution, IF I go to a shop, I usually get a Chai tea or a pumpkin spice tea.

Believe it or not I've never purchased or drank coffee from starbucks/any coffee house. Whether it's because I don't hang out with people who routinely go there or I can't justify spending $3+ for coffee, I don't know.

My sister buys that "double mocha triple-extra hot" shit (which isn't even coffee) while she puts her nose up at coffee from Dunkin' Donuts.

I really enjoy, on a cold winter day green chai latte tea from stash with milk and sugar. Simply Divine.

Otherwise, I really like this cranberry and wild-berry green tea blend.

we got this great place where i live, called the blue moose cafe. good cheap coffee an locally owned to boot. i get the house roast, regular. one shot of cream.
for the record i once dumped a girl based solely on her coffee order. she got a caramel pecan flavored coffee, an well. i just could never look at her the same way again. we broke up like three days latter.

Only if you either overly like people, or overly hate people and don't mind being a bitter asshole.
Overall it's a good experience because it really helps you with mundane social interaction.
