Right now I guess my style is cargo pants. I guess I pull them off well enough, but I feel like I could be wearing something a bit nicer looking. Mine generally look like this when I wear them (the pants and actually the way that he's wearing them too):

Yeah. So they're not super baggy or anything, but they're nice and comfortable. I just feel like they look a little too...boyish I guess? And I don't tuck my shirt in, but my shirts usually don't really go much past my belt.

Suggestions?

you can try regular jeans, nicer jeans, casual khakis.. the possibilities are endless. But I am not clear what you're looking for- to be more 'stylish' or to look more mature? They can be different..

Oh yeah: really stupid arbitrary thing, but I'm not a fan of jeans. Anything else, really.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm going for... basically more "stylish" I guess.

Trousers, easy to pull off if the rest of your getup is fly and shit - but if your strapping cargos daily im guessing that you aint fresh to hipster jive.

Im personally at the edge of fashion, that is THE CUTTING EDGE OF WHAT IS IN YOUR FACE, WOOOAAAHHHHH.

Im going to be sporting pirate style pantloon slacks, big wide stripes of crimson, fuchsiaor maroon with thinner white/black stripes to go alongside.

Go to Marshalls and get some Black, Blue, and/or Khacki dockers. They fit nice and can be worn casually.

I had an exam today and there was two guys in my class wearing cargo pants and plain colour t-shirts.

anything but denim. and just make sure it fits your ass well, this is the key to good pants on a guy or a girl.

corduroy FTW. it fits the body well, feels nice to the touch, an is not worn by many, making you stand out.

So you go to fashion school then? Or does everyone turn up for their exams in their super trendiest outfits at your school?

Seriously man, I'm confused

no you don't.

consumer.

why not just colorize your pants and write/attach good words all over them? as long as they are warm, they are good pants.

Because i will kick you out of my house for being homeless.

EDIT: Sorry your statement was so retarded i didnt actually take it all in - put good words all over them? WHAT THE FUCK CONSTITUTES A GOOD WORD?
Man, your a huge fucking faggot.

I'll beat you down in public, and i'll know who you are beacuse you'll be the only asshole with colourized pants with good words on them, sorry - GOOD WORDS ATTACHED TO THEM, being all warm and shit.

Fuck you faggot.

Back to thread,
Think endgame son.
Where are you dressing to go?
Are you dressing to fit in or stand out?
Are you dressing for someone else or because you want to?

Theres entire colonies of people who have decided that clothes are just too difficult a decision and they'd rather walk around naked - but the majority of the world wants some dope threads.

Go to a store you've never been to before, maybe somewhere really upmarket - maybe a thrift store.
As long as you havent been there before, make a choice you wouldnt normally make and repeat several times.

You might end up looking like a douchebag, but big changes can be hard to stomach at first.

You dont have a set style - you set your own style.

Any change that you want to make on the outside needs to come from inside, dont let some flashy clothes wear you- make a decision.

Be a man.

This.

You need to seriously know your style if you're going to pull of cargo pants.#

I see no reason not to wear denim. Although other people suggested khaki's and corduroy, which are good, I see no reason to not wear denim.

Levis. Honestly, they're pretty cheap and the best jeans I've ever bought. There's so many styles and fits, you can easily find a pair that suits you.

Also consider cutting the crotch out of your pants, and wearing tights underneath them.
