And to then repeat the experiment with fresh blotter and the calibrated amount of solvent containing a carefullymeasured amount of drug

At this point, I'm looking at DOI, and no it's not for sale as bunk acid it's just for personal use and ease of dosing.

As for sugar cubes I was thinking that a pipette would be filled with calibrated solution and one drop placed on each cube... but I was hoping to make a fair few of these cubes and keep them in storage for a while, so I was wondering if there were any more efficient or effective ways to lay both blotter and cubes? or any potential pitfalls new players should know about?

Why not make a volumetric solution in ethanol or distilled water, calibrated so that one dose=0.1 ml or whatever, then use syringe for dosing?
