Last decent week of weather before it gets too cold to grill here in Wyoming, I presume, so I'm tossing some chops on tonight and likely some country style ribs tomorrow or the next night.

To go with it, I'm roasting some carrots on the grill too. Baby carrots with K&P, a couple pats of butter, honey, and ginger. These have been tremendous in the past.

Anyone else have carrots via the grill recipes?

I would use normal size carrots, they will be much better on the grill considering you're cooking them with things closer to their size.

I had that same thought. Why not use full sized ones?

Honey roasted carrots are my favoriteeee. Good with rosemary too.

Naw, they don't cook fast enough. The chops take about 10 minutes. The baby carrots, using indirect, lower heat, take about 45 minutes. Putting them on at the same time, for either size, would provide me with hot outer carrot and raw inner carrot. It rather defeats the purpose.

thyme an orange zest with a bit of salt pepper an a dash of vinegar. i usually do this in the oven till they are nice an caramelized but i don't see why this wont work on a grill as well.

I assumed you were steaming them for a bit before putting them on the grill.
