i want to build a tent in my room that takes up the whole space, so my room would be basically like a tent, you know? i was thinking bedouin or tibetan style because my room is square. all i know is that i need wood and canvas. i just wanted to see what totse has to say and the subject. thanks.

haha ok.

Staple some fabric to the corners of the room?

the yurt link was interesting but was round and looked a little too complicated, but thanks none the less. and i have thought about using hooks in the walls instead of a frame, but what kind of fabric should i use, because i don't really need anything like canvas because it's going to be indoors?

Bedsheets or thin blankets would work fine. I find this a bit curious, perhaps in a year or two i'll see my mom watching people do this on HGTV.

If there is one of those big sewing shops around where you live and you could go there and search through heaps and heaps of different colors and patterns, you should have a japanese style lantern in there and a hammock or two, you could have everything on ropes so it's all hangy and off the ground and you could cover all the floor with mattresses so you can just fall out a hammock and not hurt your self.
