What's your favourite Halloween candy?

I always liked those little Aero chocolate bars.

Seems pretty big where I am. It's not like literally everyone dresses up and has a party, but most people under 30 do something.

Tomorrow night I'll be out for an evening of drunken debauchery. Before that, however, I'll be sitting on the front porch with a miniature television eating Reese's peanut butter cups whilst passing them out and watching horror movies. Probably Dawn of the Dead (1978) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).

Reese's PB Cups will forever be my favorite candy. Its pretty big where I am (Virginia); I'll chill with some friends and then go out and find houses where they just leave a bowl of candy on the front porch with that sign "Please take one." Fuck that.

Reese's Peanut Butter cups are the best for sure.

And full size chocolate bars rule too. No matter what they are. And cans of pop.

I really like those weird chewy toffee like things that look like their 100 years old and are wrapped in that orange paper and take like an hour to chew. Most people fucking hate them but I love them.

Candy Corn is another favorite.

I passed out clementine oranges and gala apples. One parent wouldn't let his kids take an apple. Probably thought I had razor blades in them or something like that.

i remember them when i was a kid.

apparently they got banned now,
because the companies were backed by tobacco companies,
and it was subliminal advertising,

They still sell them at the place where I work. They got the two different kinds: one looks like Pall Mall and the other looks like Lucky Strike. 35 cents a piece.

When I was a kid some lady was serving hard apple cider out of a cauldron in her front yard-- that was a pretty good one.

Some kids came around last night trick or treating. I don't know if they realise that we're in australia and it's not the done thing.

I don't keep lollies/chocolates in the house, I gave them some mints that I found in the bottom of my bag. They were wrapped, it's all good.

Had I prepared, I would have made rice krispy treats or something equally sugary/cavity inducing.

You're fucking crazy. Candy cigarettes always tasted like shit. Ugh. They reminded me of the taste of a sucker stick (a "lolly" for you Britfags out there). They even looked like them.

But yeah, not too good. The best candy for me when I went trick or treating was chocolate shit, like reeces, kitkat, snickers, etc. Man I'm half tempted to go buy some discounted halloween candy right now. But I know how horribly unhealthy it would be...

So in South Carolina on Halloween night a convicted felon, who's not supposed to own a gun, was arrested for murdering a twelve year old trick or treater having "thought" the child was a would-be thief. 29 rounds of ammunition through the front door.

I'm not a Halloween fan.

Little shits not in costume rocking up thinking they're going to get some candy.

We don't even celebrate it here!
