Since the age of two I have been bounced around from one haunted house to the next. Most of the time the spirits mind there own but my newest house seems not to like me too much. Now most people are going to consider me crazy since I see and sometime communicate with the dead, sometimes because unlike before when I would just sense things. This time it was different, for the first three months I lived there it was relatively quite, Except for my bedroom which was always cold even on 90* days. I stopped sleeping in my room as a result.

Not too long after that I began to hear the noises that have accompanied me so many times before. Footsteps, bangs, and rapping on the ceiling above me and on my walls. I looked at it optimistically at first since most spirits Ive come into contact with were either nice or I expunged their ass to another existence. Then to my dismay is all stopped, for about two weeks. Then stuff started to disappear; first my Zippo (which in different circumstances wouldn't bother me but it was a gift), then my cell phone for 3 whole days. I had people call it no ring in either my parents house or my own. when the phone disappeared it had no charge I left in on my kitchen counter next to its charger and it vanished later on that day when I went to charge it.

I found the phone after tearing apart all my furniture on the middle of the concrete board in front of my wood stove. The phone was fully charged and on with all the missed calls on it. The weird part is I was chopping kindling for the fire I was having that day right on the same spot as where the phone was recovered. That night I had my First encounter with something, I was watching TV preparing for bed when i heard footsteps coming from above me. I turned the TV off the gauge the footsteps location on my ceiling and they were coming right for me. I laid back and waited for something and the footsteps stopped right above me. The came whistling from what sounded to be the attic.

Since this isn't my first run round a haunted house I simply ordered the spirit to be quite so I could get some sleep. The whistling stopped as did the activity for a few more days. Outside events were slowly building up inside me till I had a break down last week, I think I took it to far. I was already severely stressed and had an argument with one of my family members, when I heard a particular sound i hadn't heard since i moved out of my apartment. A laugh a cold one at that. I started smashing shit punching walls because it kept following me around I screamed some obscenities and threatened to burn the house down. It all stopped again for a week.

Which brings me to last night, I went up to my house to grab my wood bag and to take a shit when i heard what sounded like a brick bouncing off the wall of my utility room. Spooked because I had just thought to myself that nothing happened in a while I investigated the room, nothing. I went down to my parents house for dinner and use of a computer. I came up to my house at about 1am est and I was watching a show on the sci fi channel about Waverly hills sanitarium, when my mirror started to move back and forth like someone pushed it. I changed the channel thinking I was paranoid about ghosts because i was watching the show.

I was wrong, the whole night I couldn't get to sleep because I kept hearing loud crashes and bangs as well as what sounded like hundreds of people screaming in pain and agony. This noise I remember from my apartment which coaxed me to believe that it had followed me there, except I lived at my parents house for five months with no activity like that before we moved. I'm not afraid as much as I am confused why this demon has come back for me on hallowed ground. That is right my house was where catholic nuns lived.

To clarify the screams wear not load they seemed to be coming out of the air around my ears.

Also i have had trouble with electronic devices, three laptops, a ps2, and a water fountain have all been destroyed to a non working level.

I am not asking for help as much as getting shit off my chest and opening it up for discussion, I want to study this thing and try to get evidence or even proof of its existence. what i do need is ideas for tools and tests. so if there are any believers out there on &t, give me some ideas.

Interesting.
Maybe you should buy a thermometer and record when it suddenly changes and when you feel a spirit is near. Try to communicate with these beings, maybe offer a gift, try to invite them. See if you can find an archetype that is similar to you and befriend it, create a word/feeling that calls upon this particular strain. Record your progress and failures.

I would do more to examine the physically recordable properties of what is happening like Vanhalla said.

It might be your state of mind that is responsible for these occurrences, whether they are other worldly or not.

It seems like everyone's dreaming like crazy.

I had a dream a few days ago that I killed a shaman.

I went inside his house, and I killed him.

:( (???)

Maybe you wanted to take his place.

Or maybe you don't want to see what he can show you.

you can try to befriend it, destroy it, or move your choice.

if you can befriend it it may be to your advantage to have a magical entity on tap

but if it rejects any attempts at peacemaking or communication you should destroy it

Weird shit last night, I felt something brush by my leg when I walked into my kitchen to brush my teeth and then when I got to the sink I heard a cat like it was right next to my feet. Freaked me out, then the usual bangs, still having fucked up dreams.

Also on a side note didn't happen today but sometimes when I get out of the shower the bathroom light goes off, and a towel that came with my house is still hung up on the hook, I left it there since two hooks would be too depressing for me, its hard to make friends in small town America.

Believing in ghosts is stupid!
Or so i thought. Let me tell you a story of what happened to me nearly 3 years ago.

So I was visiting my older sister in Toronto with my younger siblings, as we dont normally see each other often. She was a nanny at a home where she watched to young girls. We had gone out to see a movie at the theater, Bench Warmers to be exact. I had a few chuckles so i was in a good mood. After watching some tv with my little brother i decided it was time to go to sleep. I went down stairs where me and my younger brother had beds set up in their basement, among all their other baby toys. It didnt take long until i had fallen asleep. The house was quiet, until about 2:00 am when i woke to a loud thud coming from the floor above me. Now the way this house is laid out is, it has split levels, so in total it has 4 floors. The top floor and basement has the bedrooms and the rest are used for living/dining rooms. No one was on the floor above me so naturally i thought it was maybe their dog. I tried to listen in, and i heard footsteps pacing around from the bathroom to the living room. I needed to go to the washroom, so i got out of bed and headed up stairs to the washroom. When i got to the top of the stairs i noticed all the lights off and no one around. I thought it a bit strange so i took my piss and went off to bed. I then fell asleep again, but only to be woken about 10 minutes later to the sound of a single piano key being played. Then i heard the footsteps again, but this time they were going towards the stairs. I stared at the stairwell expecting to see maybe my sister or one of the parents who owned the house. But the footsteps continued, coming down the stairs, directly in front of me. It sounded like a person, but i could see the stairwell and no one was there. The lighting was a bit dark so i couldnt see from maybe 2 feet up from each step, so i thought it was their dog maybe coming down the stairs slowely. It was beginning to annoy me so I pulled the sheets up over my head trying to muffle the noise. Before i fell asleep i heard a little "ding " on a metal pole directly beside me, on some little kid swing set. In the morning i was getting breakfast, and the parents had asked me how i slept, i replied saying it must have been their dog that kept me up all night. They didnt seem too surprised but calmly said "We dont have a dog, or any pets for that matter" And then began to tell me of a girl who had died in the basement years before, they too hear the noises almost every night. With other strange things happening rather frequently. At first i thought they were joking, but my older sister then stated the reason she keeps her tv on all night is so she doesnt hear these footsteps which walk around the house.

Later my sister told me in one single day with other people around to witness had all the things in a closet fall on her as she opened the pantry door, had dishes fall out of a cabinet shattering on the floor, and also had dishes fall out of dishwasher when opening the little door thingy. other fucked up shit has happened

It wasnt super creepy, but later on i realized how fucked up that night was. I also fondly remember being extremely cold after i thought the dog came down the stairs. I had reached to my feet as if the blanket came off, but the blanket was still in place tucked under neath me.

Dude, its 6:30am here in the northeastern United States and ever since i was a little boy anything can basically freak me out. Im not a huge fan of getting scared of things i cant see, but i guess my mind wanders into places unknown; places that im not aware of. I say im not scared, but in reality im shitting myself right now. The way u described the story was so vivid in my head. Now, i think im seriously gonna sleep with the tv on. Ive never had something freaky or paranormal happen to me like you have. I wonder if its because i simply havent been in places where such activity happens, or if i believe in the whole "if i dont believe [in ghosts, spirits], then it doesnt exist." Sometimes i wish things would happen just so i could experience them, but i can barely walk out from my room to the bathroom without feeling uneasy and like someone is behind me, watching me.

Basically, your story scares the shit out of me at this hour. Great detail though
