This worth my time/anyone else's? I'm at a university that sounds like they're strict on the torrents (and I'd rather not find out the hard way, heh), so I was looking at this for music. It doesn't seem trackable: it uses Duffie-Hillman, which even my university can't trivially break. Anyone have any experience with this?

From the faq:

HTTP tunneling
ANts allow P2P communications through any kind of HTTP Proxy

Use an http-proxy if your worried, but it sounds ok to me.

Thanx alot for sharing!

I can't remember if I tried ANts or not, but most of those anonymous p2p programs have very little content worth downloading. Which is a shame, really.

If I were you I would try to have a computer set up at my house with an ssh server running on it. That way you could tunnel all of your torrent downloading through an encrypted connection and it would be alot faster than a normal http one. But the only downside is that you have to have a computer set up and running all the time on a separate network.

This is what I would do as well. Or use GNUnet. (http://gnunet.org)

If you don't already knew about it, then shut the fuck up.
