Anybody been? Seems like a good chance I will be going there for a weeks vacation in January or February, and I plan to do shit all but relax and get drunk. The only "productive" thing I plan to do is see some pyramids, so I was wondering if any of you maybe had some experience about traveling to Cairo from Hurghada, tour guides, Package trips or stuff like that.

I've been there ages ago, not that great, full of tourists, I mean really full, the beach was packed with fat greasy Germans, there was literally truckloads of them everywhere.
