Well, kinda. I'm mainly wondering how long it takes until it's known who wins? Here it is usually decided before the last polls close.

What was your voting experience like? Was there long queues? A different turnout to what you thought there would be? Any hassles?

We'll probably know tomorrow unless you can be bothered staying up all night, which I definately won't.

There weren't any lines, I'd say about 2 dozen voters came in during the time I voted and it was very orderly. After I voted a young man came up to me and asked if I was a college student, then asked me some more questions about my voting experience, saying he was from a group called Protect the Vote. Also, in the parking lot near the church I voted at, some Obama people were waving signs and smiling at me. I went over and had a brief talk with them. Then I went to class, where I am now...

sign... I came into work early today, so I can leave early to get to my polling station which is 1.5 hours away from here! I'm guessing there will be long lines at that time since everyone will be coming off from work around that time.

I casted a paper ballot fed into a scanner. The form was pretty straightforward and little room for confusion. Most people were in line for the computers, which is a horribly corrupt system. If you get offered a paper ballot, by all means use it.

McCain: 53%
Obama: 46%

1% of precincts reporting.

Exit polls in VA, IN, SC, GA show leanings toward mccain. lol elections.

I'm gonna predict Obama wins 284 to McCain's 254 electoral votes.

I voted absentee so I didn't get to experience voting firsthand, but I heard there were long lines at the polls here at 6:30 when they opened. But this is a swing state and a college campus, so maybe that's why.

And yeah, I love how they call the states with 0% or 1% reporting in. Hell.

i arrived at my voting place about 30 minutes before it opened, and there was already a long line waiting. It took about an hour total, but there were no hassles other than the wait, did the touch screen voting, got my sticker and went back home to sleep. i think it went pretty smoothly.

If McCain had been smart enough to get Oprah's approval - he'd be win right now.

Wow, not even close. Landslide like I've saying all along. I knew all that mainstream media "neck to neck" talk was all bullshit.

Well... I'll see you all later, I got a lot of shit to buy that I probably will not be able to a year from now.
