So, I see this story about a pretty, blonde news chick getting beaten to death on 10/20/08, and the first thing I think is "A black man raped and killed her, grabbed what valuables he could, and ran. Ho-hum, a typical day in the city."

You know, because I'm a racist.

Anyway, I didn't give it much more thought, but I saw her parents being interviewed on the Today show on 11/3/08, and no one mentioned anything about the investigation, whether they have a suspect, etc.

so, just now, I looked up what little there is to be had:

From the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/26/us/26anchor.html?_r=2&scp=1&sq=Anne%20Pressly&st=cse&oref=slogin&oref=slogin), 10/26/08:

A credit card belonging to Ms. Pressly was used at a service station several miles from her residence shortly after Mrs. Cannady discovered her daughter, the police said.

Yesterday, police announced (http://www.ktnv.com/global/story.asp?s=9287498)that they have evidence, but still haven't named a suspect.

And, finally, from Wikipedia, a breakdown of the demographic make-up of Little Rock:

55.1% White, 40.4% Black, 0.3% Native American, 1.7% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 1.28% from other races, and 1.28% from two or more races. 2.7% of the population is Hispanic or Latino.

Theory: the video showed the suspect clear as day, but the authorities have been sitting on it. Maybe they're waiting until the votes are all in before they announce it. Any takers?

So what you're saying is that the police are putting the public at risk because, while they know who did it, it was a black guy and they don't wanna risk their chosen candidate, Obama's chances?

This was a big story when it broke, then it disappeared after a couple of days. That always sets off alarm bells. The fact that the press has buried this story on the back page, and that the cops have dragged their asses naming a suspect or discussing the video evidence sets off more alarm bells.

I can't help but think that they would, in fact, sit on the news until after the election because of the adverse effect it might have had on Obama's votes nationwide.

And, yes, the law enforcement agencies of the US routinely endanger the public by quashing information, especially as it pertains to matters of race. Cops have been put through a lot of shit over the past 15-20 years for advising the public about black fugitives or suspects. So now, rather than be called racist, they just hush-up the details and let the public continue to get robbed/raped/murdered.

I FUCKING KNEW IT!!!!!

She was beaten, probably raped (they found him through "DNA" evidence), and murdered by Curtis Lavelle Vance, a negro.

I hate niggers, but actually thought this would be a white guy. She didn't live in niggertown or anything.

But yeah, it also says he had a girlfriend and some little nigglets. Anyone know their names? Or his mothers name? (i'm sure it's not the same as his)

But do you think that this would have changed anything? To all the communist nigger loving scum who voted for obama, a white womans life is worthless. But this precious spook should be given awards for using his 2nd grade reading level to write childrens books (like tookie).
