in my opinion there are 4 stances on the beliefs on science and religion

Creationism like beliefs - god is absolutely right and science is nothing (cobb county)

Science is everything and religion is nothing. scientific athesim

Science is the way of explaining gods designs. ie. god created gravity and newton described how it works.

Einsteins God - science saying that the unknown is 'god'. this method is using god to describe how science works. "I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings." Albert Einstein. imo, the balance of 'god' allows science to balance the world, homeostasis like.

in my opinion how content you are pushes (not absolutely) you towards which one you will be. atheists are the ultimate of not content with explanations, whereas creationists are.

the science explains god is one of a devotee that is content with there beliefs but skeptical with the application
and the Einstein god is one of a agnostic that has the belief that there could be a god and attributes him with the unknown.
