I went to sleep with the room almost spinning. It was soooooo relaxing. Its been a long time since I had 8 hours of sleep and actually felt good. Usually I could sleep 12 or more and still feel like shit.

The main problem I see is that he will be given a free ride to do whatever. Nobody will oppose him for fear of being labeled a racist. We have no idea what he actually thinks since he has almost no voting record and what he does have could easily have been fake just to mislead us. He even spoke out against congress in the 80s saying that Reagan should ignore their decision and supply the contras with weapons. In his vice presidency his doctrine was to expand the scope of the president's powers. Barack will enter the presidency with more power than any other president in history, thanks to Bush and Cheney.

Do people realize that the president has a team full of advisors around him that are "experts" in their respective fields and they help him make choices. There are less checks and balances because Bush took them away. You wouldn't be complaining about this is McCain had won, but now that it's not to your advantage, it's not fair anymore.
