Exactly as the title says, Serving God will send you to hell.

Jesus said this to his Jews, " The law was made for servants-Love God as I love him, as his son! What have we son's of God have to do with morality!"

This statement is rather confusing for most Christians, but Jesus also told us to not follow the religions that would come in his name as well. If you really believe that Christ was the savior, you'll get rid of your bible right now, cease your routine of Church, no longer speak of religion, and only love God as your father. As his son, God will always spare you from your sins, cause he knows you are incapable of escaping them. All a person must do is live a life of love in their heart.

The reason I say serving God will send you to hell, is simply because the system of servitude is flawed, and you can never avoid sinning, and if you do not see yourself as one of God's children, you won't be forgiven, EVER! Servitude is not something Godly.

It takes us to one of the oldest stories. God is the ruler of Heaven and Earth, but only his angels where designed for servitude, as they can't sin, because they're not human. God never ever told us to serve. Only one angel challenged this system, and it was Satan. Satan wanted to Rule Heaven and Earth himself, and wanted the weak humans to bow before him. Satan demanded servitude, not God. God was silent on this. Satan was cast down to earth for trying to take God's throne.

Satan, in spite of God, corrupted God's humans, with knowledge. Knowledge lead to the idea of amorality, and amorality to morality, which born religion. Satan's greatest trick of deception was a system of worship of God, in the ways that God despised most. God created us without morality, and until we had knowledge, we didn't need it.

God realized the plight of mankind, and sent Christ to earth, to teach us a new way to live, through love. Love is above morality. When we love God, and act only out of love, we live in heaven, as we are always filled with love, and no deed that could be seen as negative to humanity can be performed through love. At this point morality has no purpose, except to those who are filled with love, but believe that they must follow a system of Good and Evil to find heaven. That is a lost cause, cause nobody can live up to the laws that religion has put upon it's servants. All religions are the same in this, and nobody can ever achieve full obedience. To follow one law, another must be broken, and it's impossible to not break a law. Therefore, heaven will always be out of the grasp of servants, and is reserved for those who love God as their father, and know the father will forgive his children.

Even in Buddhism, is it even possible to achieve enlightenment? Nope, you can't. You'll never find heaven through that path, because our human feebleness will never allow us to ever reach full enlightenment. I can go on and on how as long as we serve an ideal, we'll never find the Kingdom of heaven inside us, cause it's only found through love of God as his child.

When we love God as his child, we become an extension of God's love, as that's what children are of their fathers. Acting in love, there are no mistakes. A man who full of this love has no need for greed, no vanity, no pride, no sloth, envy, no gluttony, and no lust.

In Greed, if we are full of love, we may pursue to get things for ourselves, but out of love, we'll also share it with those around us, and greed is no longer possible.

Even in Vanity, if we are full of love, we do not reject love, and give love equally, rendering vanity to nothing, as it no longer fosters being above another, cause a person full of love, loves everyone despite their appearance, including themselves. Vanity simply no longer can plague us.

Pride, what pride, I'm God's son, but am I more chosen than any other son? No, God loves us all equally, and so do I.

Sloth simply can't exist either, as universal love is God's work, how is sloth possible?

Envy, what can a person envy when you love all as your brothers and sisters, with love being the most cherished thing, rendering everything else obsolete, what is there to envy if we can all possess this love.

It is also impossible to be gluttonous if one loves themselves. How can you abuse your body and food, if you love what God has given you, and strive to take care of that gift?

Even lust, If one loves all, their is no lust. Sex transcends animal instinct and becomes about the spiritual connection, and sharing of the feeling of love between two individuals. When love is the driving force, lust no longer exists.

Under the laws of religion however, you'll always be in default, at war with yourself, and never truly possess love. If you feel you must follow a strict code to be loved by the father, you do not love him as your father, as you shouldn't fear God ever. God is your father, he's there to nurture you, and servants are bowing before Satan. When you bow before Satan, you agree with Satan and his ideas, which have no place in heaven, which is why you won't.

As long as you follow religion, follow a set of morality that isn't a system of Love, you are at war with your human self, and you are in hell, and will go to hell.

Couldn't agree more. If there really was a Jesus and he was a good man like the stories say then he would be rolling in his grave with all the bullshit the bibles been filled with.

It's not that hard to understand how this could happen though. Look how people here twist peoples words to make them mean things they were never meant to mean. If truth isn't perceived clearly, is it still truth? Nope.

I believe it was Karl Marx that said this," Religion is the opiate of the masses." He isn't saying that Religion is poison, which many people believe he meant by this. Funny enough, that was a twisting of words.

What he meant by this, is that religion, like opiates, brings relief to people, kills the pains of life, but in it's use one becomes disillusioned much like an opiate user, and dependent on it.

Religion, while it brings spiritual relief to it's followers and eases their minds, it isn't a true path to spirituality. A true path to spirituality has to be a path of truth, despite what that truth might be. This path is hard to follow as you have no shelter from reality while taking it. Much like opiates alleviates pain, but does not cure it. Religion is false spirituality, despite its feeling of something real.

Nature is a rather funny thing though, as it always has a counter to everything that thwarts it, and religion is trying to thwart it. Religion is going to break down, all of them. You'll no longer be able to live in the security that the church gives you, as the world is soon going to fill with chaos, and you won't be able to ignore it. Reality is going punch you right in the face. This is why Jesus spoke of the apocalypse. He knew man would seek shelter in their beliefs, and never go to a true path of righteousness that would bring peace. As a result, these systems will build up, and they have. Now conflicting systems are stammering each others feet, and God, which most believe in, seems to be on none of your sides. This is when reality clicks in that God was never on your sides, and now you have to face the results of your blind following. It's your judgment. Got bliss?

Interesting opinion. I definitely agree with you on the love part. I think almost all the popular religions point you in the right way, but none of them are perfect.

I am in The Imagination and I tell myself that I am really in my room, imagining.
Yet clearly I am sitting here imagining my room, claiming the complete opposite.
Isn't that hilarious?

All myths tell of a:

End of the World?
Rapture?
The opening of the 32nd path?
Awakening?
Revelation?
Apocalypse?
Your preconceived notions of what this means have been warped by culture.

The "World" isn't the Planet or the life on it.
The "World" is our systems, our politics, our economics, our flags, banknotes, and boarderwars. Our ideas of the world.

The Four Horsemen don't cause the apocalypse, they symbolize what life on Earth is already like.
Why we Need an Apocalypse.

Mankind must imagine a way to rise above the perilous material situation it has created. The solid/material universe is but a part of the rich spectrum of existence. The one-tenth of an iceberg that is visible above the tideline of Reality.

Think of "The End of The World" as a Devonian leap.
Some fish grew legs.

There is a difference between serving and servitude, mainly being the latter is slavery, where as when you serve its to obey and worship; to be subordinate to; to act a secondary part under, not slave your life away.

This is a story, right? It's a metaphor, Satan is Ego. the Father is Life, and the Saviour is Love. If Ego governs one's life, one becomes enslaved to the appetites of the flesh, most often destructive to Life, however; Life has Joy, and Peace, and yes Enlightenment! Love is the pure emanation of Life and the Joy and Peace it brings relegates Ego to the subordinate role Satan despises. Enlightenment is a process, not a permanent state. Like all else it changes, because it is not a thing, nor is it a no-thing, enlightenment is a present on-going condition of being fully awake. Awake to the reality that we all have "the devil within"! We also have Life and Love, those things that are infinite and eternal, beyond the illusion of seperateness and time.

I disagree with you. The father is life, christ was love, and satan is deception. God made us in his image as well. Gods image is this. God is Will, universal conscious, and the universe in which God manifests. God gave us Will, a conscious, and Body. He gave us no such restrictions. Knowledge lead to ideals, morality, and thus religions. Christ taught us that Love is beyond Good and Evil. By nature we are inclined to egoism, and Christ taught us Love, not a moral system. Christ actually condemned religion. The reason is that it deceives our nature, and tends to lead us to hate. Love would lead us to ignore most, if not just about everything religions teaches us. A defined system of right and wrong, good and evil, doesn't give room for love to overcome these things, and traps us. We are being deceived by religion to believe it brings us closer to God, but it doesn't. It actually causes us to deny everything that connects us to God. The ultimate deception, and Satan is deception.

At least we agree the Father is Life and Christ/Saviour is representative of Love.:) Ego is a deceiver! Ego deceives us that: we are our name; we are our body, a drop of blood and sperm from our ancestors and ego deceives us into believing this is who we are. Our nation, culture, religion school, peers, they combine to create a ... record, an ... identity. To my mind, Satan is representative of ego, and both are analagous of the perverse side of human nature. Theological Religion is a part of the ego's identity, yes it does deceive .. those who are naive -- as does personifying forces and actually believing those beings exist.

Ok, I understand where you're coming from now, and I agree. Christ taught us love, and loving God as the father destroys ego. Love dissolves Ego. For me, I have no Ego, I'm a partition. I'm a partition of Universal Will, Universal conscious, and a partition of the universe in which these things manifest. My body is just a space for my individual will and conscious to exist, but it's not separate. Kind of like computer programs on a hard drive. Electricity is the Will, the information on the whole hard drive is the conscious, and the hard drive itself is the universe for the info to be fixed too. If one separate program declares itself separate, it's being deceived. Our souls or partition of conscious and will are no different. The Ego is a lie.

by definition serving god will not result you being sent to hell. Why?

Serving god brings you closer to god, this is the opposite of sin, sin is something which does not contain any of gods qualities; sin leads you away from god. To hell, because hell is a place which is defined by gods absence. Thats is why you are incorrect and contradicting yourself.

How can we have been created from God's image if we have been, and continue to evolve?

Or is 'God's image' something that isn't physical; instead achieved by slapping on such a label after we reached enough cognition through brain evolution to do so at a random snippet of evolutionary history?

again look at the definition.

God is something which is divine, divinity transcends human capacity; of course we are talking about material nature. therefore god isnt something that is physical. This tells you thats god is not physical.

So the answer to your evolution based question again lies in a lack of information also.

God and people are similar but at the same time different. This is because we are qualitatively similar to God but quantitatively we are one whilst God is universal.

We are made in the image of God but we are different, therefore it is possible for us to be different from God (evolve over time) but be derived from his image also. This has to do with internal potency, external potency and marginal potency. We are marginally potent, we are both material and spiritual (spirit soul and body) we are part of both these realms BUT God is not he is a pure spiritual being, he is not the material world, although the world is derived from him ( you could use an analogy of Mother and child, they both contain similar genetic code and there are certain inherited traits, but obviously not the same). This is all a consequence of of Gods energies (potency), Krishna has these energies as a result of his potency, and we are part of this energy; but we are not God. So these internal and external potencies manifest themself as superior energy and inferior energy, an evolution of our bodies is external inferior/ material nature and has no effect on our spirit soul so we are still made in the image of God; even whilst our material body is evolving.

Vanhalla
2008-11-15, 18:26
The true nature of the Self is the Mind of I Am.
However, I only have the vaguest sense of what that really means because of my own ignorance and weakness, my refusal to rise above these low energy material states and ascend into a new layer of The Infinite Mind. I am not ready to leave this world behind, stand on the precipice that pierces the clouds, spread my wings and fly. No. Much needs to be learned, explored, shared, and experienced on this lovely earthly plane. There is a reason I am still here. . .

There is a difference between man and animal, albeit not entirely obvious. It is the schism of the group mind and the individual mind, the flock and the free. It is a different layer of consciousness that we all share, yet still our minds are soiled with ignorance. We have a choice, we can wipe the shit from our eyes and contemplate the clouds, or continue to fight and fuck in the dirt. What ever your individual choice may be, you will continue to mover closer and closer to the remembrance of who and what you really are. Some will stay in their school, play by the silly rules, and ignore the massive variety of institutions outside of their imagined walls. Some fish are not ready for feet, and there is nothing wrong with that.

It moves up and down, we delve further into materialism, our physical comfort and personal advancement. Then we destroy ourselves and find comfort in our imaginations in spite of our bleak physical situations. In these tough times much can be learned about who you are, and what goes on in your underlying mind. Bonding with the essence that affects everything you’ll ever do. When you are poor, there are many limitations and necessities that continually distract, they force you to do things that you do not want to do. Some choose further destruction, refuse to advance from these tribulations and instead sulk in defeat. But others learn, and using their will/intellect/love to ascend from their perilous material and mental situation. And they take these lessons with them. This can be applied to society as a whole as well as the individual soul.

When one is rich, materially and psychologically, much too can be learned about what you are and where you are going. Anyone can find that well of wisdom and drink. But when all of the world is open to you, to learn of and discover, then what the fuck will you do? Many potent and fecund minds fall pray to the material and mental distractions that plague all beings. The gate is open wide, but the luminous shine they still do not see, because their minds are filled with urine. A choice must be made, cleans this urine from your mind or choose to bask in the cesspool of your own ignorance. Some fish are not ready for feet, and there is nothing wrong with that.

So the exact same logic applies for a severely demented child/adult as a result of genetic/hereditary disorder incapable of any cognition around them whatsoever?

Yes the same logic applies.

It is sad that this is the case, but at the same time you must realise that we have the capacity to be marginally potent, we are spirtual and material in nature; this does not mean this is embraced by society.

The human animal is the only animal that can know God and have discriminant knowledge, to not understand this is to be an animal so the principal applies to everyone.

Only 1% of the population are spiritually conscious because the majority of people are trapped in the material / intellectual consciousness; even religious people- because there concept of God is often derived from material or intellectual consciousness (i.e. praying to god so that i can have more useless consumable goods).

So the logic applies to "retards" and according to the principal those who are not in the spiritual consciusness (rejecting intellectual and material consciousness completely) are behaving like the animals and the retards who cannot duplicate, understand, contemplate and realize Krishna.
