Yes ... a zombie comedy!

But the dude also recommended 28 Days Later, which is one of my absolute favorite films. If you haven't seen that, go buy it. Now. And watch it. Now!

Yes, that's Sean Connery

"The penis is evil. The penis shoots seeds, and makes new life, and poisons the earth with a plague of men, as once it was. But the gun shoots death, and purifies the earth of the filth of Brutals. Go forth and kill!"

Watch while high, it's the most batshit insane fucked up hippie sci-fi movie ever made

Shaun of the Dead is a zom-rom-com. Best category for film ever!

Post-apocalyptic films. How about the classic Dawn of the Dead, or even the new one, both fairly apocalyptic.

Other good ones might be Twelve Monkeys. Both Bruce Willis and, surprisingly, Brad Pitt kick ass in it. Em other other ones might be Delicatessen and, even though i'm in Europe, Red Dawn. Oh yeah and for total cheese Jason X. Pure shite...

One last one i swear............. Southland Tales. Haven't seen it but it looks okay

I definitely agree. Both of them did a good job on the acting and got away from their normal roles.

Southland Tales is... odd. It's a beautiful train wreck. I don't think it's half as serious as it makes you think it wants you to think it is. If you like Philip K. Dick, you might like Southland Tales. It's a total send up of the shallow plastic culture of south California, wrapped in three metric tons of pretension, conspiracies, stilted dialogue, humor and the sort of quasi-gnostic spirituality you might find expressed in a prog rock album from the seventies/poetry scrawled in a trapper keeper. And strangely, it still comes across as if the director was totally sincere and naive about what he made. I don't know how else to explain it.

If that sounds unbearable to you, it will be.

The day after is a decent one, its about some nuclear war between a bunch of the countries, seen it quite a while ago though so cant remember much from it.

I love this movie.

For those unfamiliar, he's not talking about The Day After Tomorrow -- 'The Day After' was a nuclear apocalypse film made for TV and originall broadcast in '83.

-Equilibrium
-THX 1138
Equilibrium was kick-ass, unfortunately it got a lot of shit-press.

Wasn't THX 1138 a Lucas film?
