Alright. About a year ago I bought a Remington 710 in 7mm Rem Mag. I was going to use it as a deer rifle, but due to certain changes that have come about, I won't be going deer hunting for a few years at least.

I've decided that rather than storing it in the attic for a few years, I may as well trade it in. I've only put about 40 rounds through it (just enough to get it sighted in and have a little fun at the range). Anyways, I was debating picking up either an SU-16 or a Mini-14 with the cash I get for the Remington.

About how much am I looking to get from it? Keep in mind it's in immaculate condition, I clean it about 3 times a year, and it was properly stored with the appropriate oiling. One more thing, would it be better to post it on Gunbroker.com and try and ship it out through an FFL or should I just take it to my local store?

See if your local firearms dealer will list it on gunbroker for you and take a commission.

You might be able get a buyer who uses an FFL that will accept shipping from an individual. This would save you money on the trade.
