View Full Version : How do you take your coffee?
I thought about doing this as a poll, but meh...just answer.
Currently, I'm drinking mine black, and it's excellent. Piping hot (or at least as piping as you can get it at 7200 feet above sea level) out of a stovetop gravity perc pot, on a cold, windy day on the high plains.
So how's about you?

I always have mine black, piping hot. Usually with 3 sugars.
Then that would be with three sugars, not black. :P
(Unless I'm missing some memo from the yuppie coffee culture that states that black no longer means NOTHING added, and if so, I don't care to be brought up to speed. I'll keep drinking my cowboy coffee, thanks.)

Maccas has huge coffees, the large is actually frightening to see. And their cream is 35% cream. Good Christ my friend.

Just black, unless it's particularly shitty coffee, then I might throw a creamer in it. That hasn't happened in a while though.
I just got a Keurig single cup coffee maker this week, so I'm currently working through the variety pack that came with it.

Unless its shit coffee, in which case I will add sugar until it becomes viscous.

It's good to see not many people like cream in their coffee.
Good choice.

Though shalt never convert me.
Actually if it's a gourmet blend I don't take anything with my coffee. McDonald's coffee is good, if you ask me, but not so good that I don't want cream and sugar.
Black and getting blacker.
I usually drink my coffee pitch black, or as someone already said, with a bit of milk if it's particularly shitty.
If I go to a café I might order a Cortado, or just a quadruple espresso.
When it comes to types of coffee, I'm completely in love with high-grade pure Kenya.
Blacker than black. The more bitter the better.
I used to have some organic coffee from Vzuela... that was intense. It was possibly the most bitter taste I've ever had, but it damn sure woke me up.

I put a spoonful of sugar and some soy milk normally.

Soy? SOY?
.
The first thing that I was ever taught about coffee was that if you need sugar to drink it, then you shouldn't be drinking it.
Black.

Over here we have a limited choice, I mean all the coffee is of extremely good quality but it's mostly just espresso, it's hard to find big mugs like they sell in the UK/US.
I'm more of a green tea person, but lately in the office I find that a caffeine shot(that's how I call espressos) can be good in the afternoon just to be slightly more productive and not look like a total lazy bastard.
When I'm at home I have an American style coffee machine with which I make strong cofee with habanero chillies and dark chocolate, which in my opinion is one of the nicest drinks there is, and then I also have what we call a mocha cofee brewer:

Damn that sounds pretty great.

Actually... Euda is on the money with this one.
Coffee should be drank black. All of this extra stuff you put in it is dumb and takes away from what coffee really is.
