This movie would have been a lot better if it weren't for the fact that I simply couldn't feel sympathetic for the girl playing the lead female role. She was really ugly and it just seemed like she sucked as a human being.

The point of the movie was to tell a different story in 3 different time periods and show how the male lead dealt with it. The female (Rachel Weisz) wasn't really supposed to make people feel sorry for her. It's all about relating to the guy.
