Has anyone ever tried this? I enjoy a nice bowl of pipe tobacco once in a while, but the pipe itself is pretty much a hassle. I figure you can get the best of both worlds by simply rolling a cigarette with pipe tobacco instead of the regular shit. Would it even work?
I don't think it would work too well. It's been a while since I've smoked a pipe but if I correctly recall pipe tobacco is cut way thick.

I've done it once.
After one night of heavy drinking and what not... left with no smokes the next day.
Buddy smokes a tobacco pipe from time to time, couldn't find his pipe but found rolling papers.
The desperation made it worth it.
It works, but using a pipe is better by far.
Black and Milds are made with pipe tobacco.

Strange to say I was once walking about with a mate who'd rolled a cigar with pipe tobacco and a "blunt wrap," and as we were walking along I caught a whiff and inquired as to whether or not he was puffing on a black 'n mild.
"Nope, this is that pipe tobacco I bought t'other day."
Random tidbit.
A friend of mine does this all the time. It's really nice actually.

Quick question: Is pipe tobacco any healthier than cigarettes? Is it just dried tobacco and other natural things, or are there still evil deadly poison chemical additives and preservatives and stuff?
I'm more interested in pipe smoking than cigars right now.

Pipe tobacco is healthier than cigarettes, first off because you're not inhaling the smoke, and second of all because it's higher quality tobacco without crap they put in cigarettes.

Indeed. It's far more enjoyable than a ciggarette.

It's ok, the problem is that pipe tobacco is usually a lot thicker than cigarette tobacco, it's not as finely cut up. So this makes it a lot harder to roll into cigs, they usually end up looking like shitty joints, but if you don't care, go for it.

Most of the tobacco you can buy in real tobacconists in the U.K is technically "pipe tobacco", it's quite coarse cut, and varies in strength/flavour. It's cheaper than commercial rolling tobacco, and it's not hard to roll, some of you just suck at rolling....
I haven't bought any for a while, as I kinda prefer just commercial rolling tobacco at the moment; cutters choice, Drum etc. I may have to venture into the tobacconists and get some black cherry stuff in future though, if I haven't quit again.
