Sorry if this has been done before, but I really don't have time to look it up ATM. I was wondering if maybe anyone had an idea of what I could use to siphon xylene from a mescaline extraction. I've basically melted 3 turkey basters now. The tops keep getting holes. A sep funnel is too expensive right now. So basically, I need a cheap, efficient way to get this xylene off of this water. Thanks for any ideas.

I think he's looking for a replacement for a separatory funnel, rather than a pipette. Further, while using just a glass tube would kinda work as a pipette, it's much better to use some kind of bulb on the top, in order to fill it by suction as well as to exert greater control of the process...

I ended up making a siphon attached to an aspirator, both made of PTFE. It works pretty damn well, actually.

The sep funnel idea wouldn't have worked, because I had cactus powder in the water, which would have clogged it. I thought of that after reading this thread again.

Really ghetto ways include.

Glass sun tea dispensers, and proper gloves; and for smaller amounts you can always pop a hole in the bottom of a glass Sobe bottle.

Both ways are ghetto as hell.

Resso nd redsky are painfully different cats.

It was a 12kg det, and Resso was raided because of files that he wrote that were found on redskys computer. Resso is a good dude, and I am still friends with him, but redsky, as far as I know, is taking it up the ass in prison atm.
