I live in British Columbia (Canada) and I am 16 years old. This site states that I can legally go where I want when I am 16 as my parents are no longer responsible to provide life necessities for me at this age.

However, I'm unclear as to whether I can choose where I want to go if I make arrangements, or if the ministry (as I'm 100% sure my mother will contact) has to decide for me.

Could anybody clarify this a little bit for me?
