What is this a Barack Obama campaign slogan? We all know there is a lot of evil. But the society average for evil isn't very great, for the most part people are too plain busy with their lives to devote them to evil.
Staying focused, well that's usually easy in the short term, but in the long term people have trouble with that, that's why people can't devote their whole lives to much of anything anymore.

It is impractical because it is optimistic to believe that being kind and loving will remove the need to act in a way that is not kind or loving. Circumstances withheld, I find this to be generally true and a somewhat muddied reflection of the nature of transformative experience.

TL/DR: objectivity is limited by knowledge and how that knowledge is implemented within the logical process of the objective subject.

Being kind and loving is generally and universally beneficial. Questioning the purpose, consequences and origin of such actions, if these actions have a higher 'objectivity quotient' than their "counter-measures", is even more impractical and based on a similar and equally flawed principle.
