when you have a pineapple (and cut the skin off to enjoy slices of pineapple) you take the skin of the pineapple and put cinnamon in the water and boil it. leave it sit for a night or day add sugar to your taste and put it in a pitcher and put it in the fridge and youll enjoy some epic tasting home made super cheap tea!

wouldn't that be bitter as shit? Although its an interesting concept. what does the tea taste like?
and what ratios of cinamon to pineapple skin? cinnamon powder, or sticks?

Your directions suck. Not to mention your horribly bad grammar makes everything very hard to understand.

interesting idea.

what we make in these here parts is sassafras tea*

just go out in the woods if you live in the usa an look for some sassafras saplings. they are easy to identify because of their leaf pattern. for added identification their leaves smell when bruised a bit like fruit loops. sassafras is a bit hard to find once the leaves fall off.

once you find a sapling dig it up. what you want are the roots. get your self about four roots the size of your pinky an you are ready to go.

get back to your home an wash an lightly peel the roots. then julienne them an add them to a big pot of simmering water. think a gallon per two roots.

brew until the water turns dark red/brown. then drink with a bit of honey. i find that it taste almost like root beer. in fact root beer once was made with sassafras. hence the name rootbeer

*note: chemicals in sassafras have been found to induce cancer when given to lab rats in large quantities. so if you have a pet rat dont let em near this stuff ;)

I haven't thought about sassafras tea since I lived in western North Carolina. I love the stuff. I'm in Myrtle beach, South Carolina now, and I'm not sure if there is any sassafras here. I guess It's time for a little research.

might be a bit late in the season. i know here (west virginia) snow is on the ground an all the leaves are gone. making it damn near impossible to find any sassafras.
