I read some of The Marvel Civil War series and, while im not finished it yet, I was debating with my friend whether they could ever make it a movie or not. Me and him both agreed that it would make a great movie, but it would end up being 12 hours long. So I said that it would make a great mini series on some channel like HBO or somthing. Anybody care to share there thoughts?

That shitstorm is what caused me to temporarily turn my back on Marvel, only strengthened by the fistfucking they gave to Spider-Man not too long after that. If they ever make that into anything, I am going to hunt down the execs one by one and keep them chained in my basement, whereupon they shall be forced to study their own output from the late 60s to mid 80s to learn how not to be stupid.
Or until Pete is married to MJ again.
Those faggots.
EDIT: Forgot to answer your question. I think it would only be feasible as a miniseries and even then, the budget would likely be prohibitive. I don't see it ever happening outside of the fan realm.

Captain America's overrated and a complete shitbag, but him versing Iron Man would look good with the proper CGI.
But Marvel Zombies would be SO much cooler as a film.

Far far far far FAR too many characters, concepts and organisations to introduce to an audience to make it doable, besides which...Civil War wasn't even that good as a comic book; it was just another trashy summer event, so to make it into a movie...
Who the hell wants to sit through a two and half hour ham-handed political allegory about the Patriot Act told through characters in tight spandex, anyway?

No, but this Punisher War Zone is under the Marvel Knights brand, so expect a Moon Knight movie and perhaps a good Daredevil film.

Amen.
I'd I think Marvel is just going to continue doing the Ultimate/616 mix that they've recently been doing. No one in their right mind would sit through a trilogy of 3 hour films about super-heroes finding over piss-poor political analogies.

Holy shit, Doctor Strange movie fuck yeah. Ive never read the Civil War comics because they did not interest me. But a Marvel Zombie movie would be amazing.

Civil War would be too boring, Marvel Zombies as a movie is just too dumb. People wouldn't understand that it was non-canon.
I would like to see a World War Hulk movie though.
