Any menthol that is not a newport is cool with me. Camel, marlboro, parliament, all cool if they are menthol. Nat Shermans or Djarum Blacks/Bali Hai if I don't feel cheap, but I gotta drive 20 minutes or so to get them so fuck that.

i roll blue drum. it cost $3.45 for 40 grams. it comes with 50 papers, and i almost always run out of papers before i run out of tobacco.

DAMN.....i have never herd or cigarettes going over 5 dollars unless their the luxury cigarettes.......like Nat Sherman's but here marlboro and camel go for about 3.75 pretty much anywhere, unless you go to like a 7-11 or a grocery store then their about 4.25........but i just bought a 6 ounce bag of "Golden Harvest" cigarette tobacco for 6.99 and it usually lasts me for about 2 or 3 weeks.

I'm in Colorado too. I smoke Marlboro Reds and Newport's. Marlboro's are around $4.15 a pack, and Newport's went up a lot. Around $5.50 a pack.

Really? I think the non-menthol tastes like a superior Camel Filter, and the menthol is like an extremely harsh fake taste. Most of my friends who smoke do not pop them unless it is their first time smoking one (if i bum em one) i know when I'm drunk, I forget about the menthol bead and smoke a whole pack without crushing one of em.

but i still buy em because when i want a menthol i can have one, and the uncrushed tastes good.

try 3.80 for a 40 gram pouch of american spirit. yes, i know that it is more expensive and it might not be your style (i can appreciate the shaggier, darker drum) but it is my brand of choice, and i would argue is ultimately less cancerous.

When I smoked cigarettes, I smoked Kools. Gave them up slightly over two years ago, except for the occasional drunken indulgence in one (which I usually regret greatly the next day).

I was giving about $3.80/pack, or if I caught the buy two, get one free deal at one of the local gas stations, around $2.90/pack. I only smoked on the weekends, though, so it wasn't a big deal.

I have smoked Reds almost religiously for the past 6 years with little deviation. Recently, however, a few of my friends have got me smoking Virginia blends. They don't really have the kick of the ol reds, but the're still rather full bodied.

And here in Charlottesville, they tend to run about $5 a pack, which is borderline extortion.

When I was living down in Florida, I was smoking Dorals for about $2.40 a pack. I'm now living up here in Michigan and smoking Pall Malls at $4.14 a pack. :mad:

Well I used to be a Winston guy, but the 5.25 a pack really killed me, so now I buy American Spirit Organic tobacco, which runs about 15 for 150 grams, and then I use an injector with Rizla tubes and make my own, i figure cigs run me about 2 a pack since I started making my own.

Cigarettes are fucking expensive in Tallahassee. I get camel crush (for the novelty) at 2 packs for $10 and some change.

I Don't see how you guys can afford smokes that cost so much. Newport, Camels, Marlboro etc can be had for less than $30.00 a carton. I smoke Seneca, they cost me $14.99 a carton. I like them better than Marlboro. If you smoke full flavor, i recommend trying them. The menthol's are good as well, and have more nicotine than the other cheap brands. I smoke a pack sometimes 2 a day, so i can't afford paying $50-$60 a carton.

At the moment... Amber Leaf from Spain, 50g (that's 1.7 ounces or something for those in the stone age), for £5. That's not paying tax to the gov. though.... it's about £11-12 or something for the same amount in a shop.

That'll make me at least 100 rollies, so definitely value for money, bearing in mind 20 cigs are about £6 a pack here now ($9 :eek:)!

I prefer Drum usually though, ran out of the stuff I got in Asia though, it was about $14 for 250g!! Drum light blue isn't sold in the U.K anyway, and I prefer that to Blue and Gold, although Gold is second best. Straights.... can't beat a Lucky.

The Basics are just under $6 a pack. Don't know about the others since I've never actually bought them.

My friend usually buys Drum at about $3. Ridiculously cheap, but I'm terrible at rolling.

I smoke B&H Smooth, generally. They're considered middle class here in Aus, about $10 for 20, which is err... $3.50 in England, or some shit.

Though if I don't have any smokes, whatever anyone else is smoking will do.

I'm currently trying to quit, but whenever I do buy cigs I usualy go for the Newports $6.17, Camel regular's $5 something, or Marlboro reds which are about $5.24.
