There's a lot of threads about "believing in god" VS "not believe in god".

what about "people who believe in god and support god" VS "people who believe in god but support the devils side".

Think about it, a thread like this could generate a new TYPE of flamewar!

"God" and "the devil" as entities, are mythical figures, and hardly worth arguing about.

The All in All encompasses all. We in this world define things as good or bad (usually on social norms not on Godly understandings). However to The One everything is contained within The One. So we are going to be arguing over paradoxes and contradictions really nothing more.

^Agreed. At the Highest Level, there is no difference between Good and Evil, those being mere labels we place on things to denote approval or disapproval.

From what i got out of the bible is that the Lucifer is not God's opposite, but Michaels opposite. God being infinite, everything, and nothing all at once cannot have a opposite. Thus Lucifer and Michael, whether they are 'real' or not, just represent a duality and your goal should be to transcend duality, not to embrace one side. Like Arms and godfather said, there is no difference between good and evil.

Most satanists I have ever talked to do not even believe there is a Satan/The Devil/Lucifer or God and instead embrace themselves as gods. I don't have any problem with this idea by itself, but a lot of them actually go out of their way to harm others.

The book of the Genies in the Koran is a bit like that. Seems the genies(basis of the myths about 3 wishes etc.,) were like fallen beings, fallen angels, who, having cast their lot with Lucifer, and later finding he was wrong, found there was no way back. 'They did the crime so they had to do the time', only there 'time' was forever, forever cast out of God's presence. Even so, having determined what was right, some of the genies decided to live up to it anyway, even though there was no chance of redemption, they decided the best way to live was God's way.

In any case I doubt any one who truly believes in God would willingly support the devil's side. That's if one actually regards the devil as real! As has already been mentioned: perhaps it's more useful to regard these supposed supernatural beings as the personification of forces inherent in the human psyche.
