The possibility was mentioned last night on the evening news.
I think it would be a great idea.

I think not, there wouldn't be much change wouldn't it?
Honestly I really don't like Hillary, Nancy Pelosi would be a much better choice.
I think it isn't a real report. I seriously think the media just broke a made up story because there are still Hillary supporters out there, definitely in the media, that want to see Hillary somewhere near the Oval Office. In breaking a false story nation wide, Obama has no choice but to consider it as the public is already expecting it.

Arms, I heard the same thing this morning as I scarfed down a bowl of cheerios.
And yes, it sounds like a marvelous idea. Maybe those feminist tramps from PUMA will cool down, for once... Doing so would really help bring the Democratic party closer together, and who else could be more qualified for the job.
Although I was originally hoping Bill Richardson would get the spot, since he could help bring more Hispanics to the party, but the Clintons are quite popular with them as well, I believe..
Fuck that shit. "Change" my ass.

It's a smart move politically because it's one less knife in the back that obama has to worry about . Also, Hillary would make a pretty good sec of state.

Condie has no credibility in in the world or even in america. She is a terrible choice for sec of state.

There is a difference between loving a healthy, juicy ass and loving the rest of the person that is attached to that ass. Condi has a very nice ass. But the quality of her ass is in no way indicative of the quality of her decisions or just Condi the person. I would try to seach for a picture of her ass to post here, but I'm at work right now.

dude, i consider condoleza rice to be the best thing to happen to America between the dates of nov 5 2000 and nov 5 2008. but to each their own. personally i would take condi's experience over hillary's any day.

Its probably because the news media is biased against her, including FOX News, but I haven't really seen anything coming from her that was really great. What was it that makes you believe she is the best thing to happen to America in the last 8 years?
Bush's aid funding to AIDS research in Africa was probably the best thing that came out of the Administration in the last 8 years that I can think of off the top of my head. But I can't think of anything off the top of my head that would make me say, "Condi Rice was the best thing to have happened in that Administration because she did this/that."

and IIRC that aid was connected to abstinence programs and bs like that the Bush Admin was pushing through.

Maybe... but I'm asking you what brought you to the conclusion out of all the stuff that has happened in the past 8 years that she was the best thing to happen.

I got a better idea. Obama should nominate Hilary to the Supreme Court as soon as someone retires. I actually think Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the one remaining woman on the court is about due to retire, but didn't want to under Bush because she didn't want another conservative to replace her (she's a democrat, appointed by Bill Clinton). She's 75 years old and had been diagnosed with colon cancer several years ago.
Anyway, point is, Hilary would be an ideal candidate to replace Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. If you want to follow media hype-like thinking.
Meh.

I was being mostly facetious. I dunno, it just pisses me off how the media likes to look at filling positions in government and elections like building an all star sports team of big names...yet how often the people that fill these positions are never mentioned in the media beforehand. It's dumb.
Yeah I agree with you there. The concept of 24 hour news media has been bastardized. I'm guessing the original intention was to give more time for the news so that more detail can be brought in the reporting as opposed to before where they tried to fit tons of news stories in 1 hour. But instead of doing that, they just make up shit for ratings and report it over and over again rather than moving onto real stories.
It used to be that the news reported stories. Now with how they are reporting the same thing over and over again, propaganda, they shift the climate of whatever they are reporting and initiate the creation of a story that wouldn't have occurred otherwise.

They really focus too much on politics and not actual events, as in NEWS. I mean, how is a bunch of opinionated cocks sitting around a table giving their opinions considered news? It's dumb.

If by that you're implying that Bill O'Reilly is a cock-gobbler, I believe that that your assumption is correct.
But honestly, that's relative. I'd sometimes listen to Olbermann, but I'd be damned if I was caught listening to Glenn Beck. It's really about whether you agree with the host's opinion, but I wouldn't consider that kind of programming news; more like entertainment.
