Anyone else use their own sticks?

Tried using the GH ones and they started blistering me (would've probably been okay with drumming gloves).

Left my sticks at home (at uni now) so picked up some Firths today (5A's) and they're much better.

But yeah, RB included...Anyone else use their own?

The ones the came with the set were way too light. And they chipped like 4 days after I got it.

ive been drumming for 10 years and have played my share of drumsticks. And i play with firth 5As and 5Bs. Im trying to get an endorsement from them sooner or later. The rockband sticks are just garbage. They just asked ludwig to just make a shit load of shitty sticks. They should of atleast tried to get a better drum sponsor, or more. Pearl, Tama, DDrum, or DW. Itd be a lot better.

Glad to know I'm not alone.

Just played The Unforgiven III for the first time at all (at expert)...4 stars...I'm happy with that.

I'm not a drummer at all, but I grew into the rock band sticks and have no problem with them.
Only issues I can think of is that they're almost too heavy when I play some expert songs. Even choking up on them, I look like a seizuring idiot.

I started off at my friends house using real ones... he hits the drums hard (one actually got cracked..) when he's playing and broke the original.

Now that I own it, the original ones feel very flimsy, but I'm too cheap to replace them.
