This. The game is amazing on so many levels.

For me, it would be Mafia II and Silent Hill 5.

I really hope they don't mess up the story in Mafia II. The first one was so good. They captured that family feeling with Salieri's restaurant so well. And then the loss of control as Sam got too greedy and Paulie lost it mentally. All gearing towards one of the most epic endings in video game history.

resi evil 5 is about it so far, and that better be better than its looking in those trailers, hopefuly wont suffer from gears syndrome.

As for Bionic Commando, I fell in love with that NES classic on the Game Boy actually. In my opinion it's the best Game Boy game, besides Link's Awakening of course.

what does owning a PS3 have to do with anything? both games are for both consoles.

the only thing I can see about it is that both games were initially announced for PS3 and then later for the 360. after that, they didn't sound as potentially tastey anymore. 360 is easier to design for. this means -- games released for both are less than what they could be. don't get me wrong...both games will be good no matter the console. multiconsole titles are just, for the most part, a turn-off. I was under the impression FFXIII would have maybe required a dual layered BluRay, if not TWO. instead it's what...4GB? pfft...I eat 4 GBs.

As for what games I'm looking forward to in 09, it's mostly Wii games at this point. Really excited for Punchout! because I still think the NES one is the best boxing game ever made and this new version looks to have the same spirit.

I'm also looking forward to Forza Motorsport 3, which is supposed to be end of '09 if it doesn't get pushed the fuck back for more development time (which isn't a bad thing, seeing as the game might be a little lackluster graphically like the last one if they rush it). I also hope it goes multiplatform like Bioshock did.

Colin McRae: DiRT 2 is also set to come out in '09, which might be awesome if there's some new stuff, and they've made the physics a lot more realistic as they were in previous installments (not to mention the last Richard Burns rally and Sega Rally Revo), and ADD IN A GODDAMN SPLIT SCREEN MODE FOR MULTIPLAYER.

Yeah GT5 and pretty much all GTs theres a pretty big gap between them and forza. But im pretty sure that forza wouldn't be mulitplatformed. Its like an xbox exclusive. Like remember that entire thing where everyone was going around saying Halo 3 would be on PS3. But it never happened, ever, and didnt come close to it at all.

Yeah itd be cool if it was multiplatformed. But i dont have a problem with any consoles. They all have their ups and downs. I have a 360 and wii. I played wii for a while until they ran out of games to put out. I still play 360 because theyre coming out with new games and most of them kick ass. I will be getting a PS3 once I get the money though because in 09 god of war 3 comes out, and there are more games that kick ass already on the PS3.
