Lets face it, technology is growing at an exponential rate with the scientifically specialized workforce solving life's mysteries and making use of it on the daily basis. The people that come up with these new ideas and methods are not ordinary people. They see the world in a different way. In a way, we all want to be told how to live out our lives and how to get by - the status quo - but there are people who, diliberately or not by choice, choose to live life without boundaries and expectations..to throw away the ordered structure of society bestows upon them and say, "I'm going to do things a bit differently" or "I don't agree with that." These great minds are in the class of people who have to ability to "think outside the box." New discoveries and revolutionary inventions usually come from these sort of individuals. Do you agree with me? Do you see where I'm going?
With widespread use of psychedelics such as LSD, magic mushrooms, peyote, etc provide a broader range of people the ability to perceive their world differently, even just for an instant, and come back to pull profound new insights and perceptions away to create something new? Could this have actually caused an increased level of productivity and understanding? Even to some extent?
