I finally saw Hostel II, loved it, and was impelled to re-rent Cabin Fever.

I wonder what is next for this talented young filmmaker. At the end of the director's commentary of Cabin fever, he mentioned the possibility of a CF II.

There is probably some commercial pressure to do a Hostel III, though.

Any thoughts?

What exactly do you see in this guy? I hated the first Hostel (so I've never seen the sequel). It just made me feel bored and vaguely disgusted, no real suspense or tension. He leaves almost nothing to the imagination, which IMO is where the real greatness of horror lies. I think he's a superficial shock director, and I'm not looking forward to any future films from him.

I heard he might be doing a film of Cell, the Stephen King book.

Loved Cabin Fever but hated Hostel so much that I never saw the second film. Next he's working on Stephen King's Cell and then a flick called The Man with the Iron Fist, a Tarantino collaboration.

Hostel was pretty stupid, I bet the majority of the money in that film went towards fake blood instead of good actors.

If only Tarantino would make another movie as good as Pulp Fiction was. :(
